Shadows of the Forgotten

RP Information
Season: Summer
Weather: Extremely hot and humid. City dogs will have a much harder time with this than country dogs as the city black top will attract much more heat than the green grass of the country. Long haried dogs are advised not to do much moving and all dogs are advised to stay near a water source as it is easy to die from heat exaustion.

Zodiac sat there listening to the wind. It was silent here, and that was just how he liked it. Tis better than before, he thought to himself. Tis a lot better than those noisy guns and humans screaming in pain. The silver collie wanted to shiver that thought away, but was interupted. The black fea had spoken, and had asked both brute's names. Zodiac didn't answer imediately, but the other brute did, some what. So his name was Nightwing, goos enough name. He hated dogs with stupid names that humans gave them. Not even Zodiac goes by the name the humans gave him. Kari seemed to have a name that was given to her by a human though. He couldn't care less though about her at the moment. She wanted his name though, so he would give it to her.
Before he could even open his mouth though the fea spoke again. This time Zodiac couldn't hear, but then again, it meant Zodiac didn't have to talk more. He was glad about that much of it. All three dogs seemed to be thinking about some thing big. These two dogs though didn't seem to like the place they were at. The tomb stones didn't bother him at all. This was better than just having big rocks over dead men and women that weren't even buried. At least he didn't have to smell human blood again, or hear a human scream out in either angry, fear, joy, or pain. This was much better, and Zodiac was showing it too. His head was held high, not even looking depressed. He looked at both brute and fea one more time before speaking out.
"My name is Zodiac, a name I earned by myself." The silver collie didn't even sound in the least worried here, or depressed. There was a war going on between country and city dogs, and he could be useful. He was once a dog of war east of here, and he could never forget that, no matter how hard he tried. He looked back at the other two, then pointed his nose to the two alphas. "And what might be happening here?" The collie wasn't afraid if the alphas heard or not. Nightwing didn't seem to be very comfortable talking to him and the fea out loud. The brute would always keep his voice low and his eyes and ears to the alpha that didn't belong here. Zodiac could care less at the moment, all he wanted was to speak with the alpha who ruled these lands. The white fea that stood out from the dark scene.

Hurry up Renegade! He snapped at his brother as he made his way through the city, quietly but quickly, only taking time to stop every once in a while to make sure no one was following them. His deep brown eyes darting from one side of the street to the next, then he would toss his head back to look behind him, seeing what was keeping his brother. Of course he knew, he always knew. The pup was paranoid, always paranoid. Yep, Sin called Renegade a pup because in fact him and Sin were born an hour apart, so Sin was the oldest. Snorting softly he turned to look ahead of him once more with a sigh as he heard his brother calling to him from quite far behind. Sin wait up, I'm coming, I'm just making sure no ones, eh, after us. He'd spoken to Sin as if he was some brave hero but sin saw nothing good about it at all. Paranoia proved to be time consuming and that was one thing he didn't have; time. Just try to keep up kid. If you don't, someone might get you. Wouldn't want that now would we?
Of course Renegade wasn't stupid, he knew his brother well enough to know it was just another threat. Trotting up beside him he sighed sharply. Why do you do that, you know I know you to well. You're always trying to scare me. I am just trying to look out for us both and if it means lagging behind a bit, ohwell. He shook his head some as he walked and ended up tripping and landing in a puddle of water from the last rain. Growling softly he rose once more and flicked his tail in agitation. His brother by now was chuckling softly at him and this only angered him more. Picking up his speed to catch up he dropped his head down some. He respected his brother more then anyone in the world, his brother had taught him everything he knew but it seemed lately that he was more uptight then ever and expected more out of him then he could give. Sighing once more he slowed once again and lagged behind feeling a bit alone, even though he was with Sin.
Of course Sin cared for his brother, he simply didn't have the time to waste right now, didn't have the time to fool around and play games and of course he was a bit uptight, what with the way things were changing day by day. No humans, no anything, everyone was left to fend for themselves. Come on Renegade, more dogs up ahead, maybe they're the ones we've been searching for, the ones we heard about before. He paused for a moment waiting for his brother to catch up before he continued on. Doesn't he realise how important this is. He thought to himself as he rolled his eyes. Ohwell, he was his brother and he'd have to deal with it because rather he liked it or not, he didn't think he could handle not being with his brother. Renegade had took a sudden stop though, and sin didn't realize until he was quite a ways ahead of him. Stopping for a moment he snorted softly. What now?
Renegade simply stood there, thinking to himself as he did. Finally coming to he shook his head and sighed once more. Thought I saw something, I guess it was nothing though, sorry. The virile litterally bolted to catch up with his brother and once again they walked side by side until finally they were only a few feet away from the others in what seemed to be, a graveyard. Both Sin and Renegade stoped, lowering themselves onto their haunches and watching those ahead of them. For now however, they remaind silent.

((Im just going to say that we couldn’t talk right now. Magnum's going to be gone for a while >.<))
Trotting easily up behind Night and Kari, Blu caught nothing of what the 2 were saying but she suspected nothing. She trusted Nighwing, something very little dogs gain. "Nightwing" she called once in earshot "She cant speak with me right now. Lets go." she paused between the 2 of them and looked at Night "That is, unless you want to continue this conversation with Kari" she murmured. Yes, she had used Kari's real name, big shocker. It was time she and Kari stopped their petty arguing. There were more important things right now.
Turning her attention to other dog she spoke in her natural and uncontrollable dangerous yet calm tone "I suppose your looking for Magnum?" she barked. She gestured to where she had left the white shepherd.
Pushing through the group, Blu noticed 2 dogs sitting a few feet away. Trotting calmly up to them, she stood directly in front of them. "Hello, I suppose you looking for Magnum too? Funny how the new guy on the street gains popularity." she barked. She had a reputation, no dog in the city went without the fear of her lurking in the shadows.
Her name was feared by all, that is, all who did not ally themselves with her. She earned the reputation by her born nature. She had never been a pet and was always a street dog, she had done more killing, fighting, and surviving than most other dogs. Her experience alone made her formidable enough. Nodding to each she awaited there response.

Kari looked at Blu. Was she just hearing things or did Blu just call her by her real name? I think she did. Unless Princess suddenly sounds like Kari. She thought. Well there was no point in staying here. "See ya Nightwing." Kari said. She trotted away from Nightwing and Zoidac. She smiled to herself. She hoped to run into these dogs again some day. For now she remained a loner. Now where am I going to sleep tonight? She asked herself. Kari never slept in the same place to times in a row. I'll go with that house out in the country. She thought. She could catch something to eat on the way there. She stopped when she reached a small cross tomb stone. In front of it was a stone panel. It looked like she knew it. She swiped her paw across the flat stone, wipeing away the dirt.
R.I.P Elizabeth Lucy Parker. She read in her mind. It was Lucy's grandmother! She growled softly and trotted away from it. She looked at the other tomb stones. She remembered on the day of the funeral they looked well taken care of, now they just looked creepy and depressing. As she passed Blu and the two other dogs she flashed a small smile at Blu. She trotted closer to the old rusty gates and broke into a run when she reached them. She was still a loner so she could go where she pleased, even if some of these city dogs didn't like them. No one told Kari where to go or what to do.

Renegade remained silent even though a question had been given to them. His steal gray eyes staring at the mutt before them. Of course she had a reputation but she meant nothing to him, in his eyes she was just another good for nothing rat, of course who was he to judge; after all, he didn’t know her. A smirk curved his muzzle as he looked to his brother in a seemingly devilish way. He wasn’t sure how the bastard would respond to the vixen before them but for some reason he figured it would be fun to watch. What was left of his tail flicked in irritation and his ears twitched, his brother was still silent which was starting to make him a bit nervous. Tossing his head to look behind him for a moment he sighed then looked back to the she-demon. So what if we are, it’s none of your concern.
Sin had thought about answering but he was more curious as to what his brother would say and now that he’d spoken the brindle bastard snorted softly. He’s correct, it is none of your concern who we’re looking for, besides for all you know we’re looking for you, a pity we’re not. He snapped. His own deep brown eyes set in a stone cold glare before he rose and trotted around her and a few feet away from her. Of course Renegade followed without a question and they once again took their seat in the graveyard, simply waiting, and thinking about the things to come. Sin also wondered if the she-demon would say anything to them but he didn’t really care and if it was a fight she wanted, well then, a fight she would get.

As the dogs answered, Blu's maw twisted into a smirk and a small chuckle escaped her lips. "So I see" she murmured more to herself than them. As they walked away, Blu proceeded on towards the streets. She couldn’t fight here, on another dogs land? Nah, and besides, she didn’t have the time. A small scent had wafted up while she was attempting to discuss and alliance.
The dog had returned the one that she had retreated from. Why had she retreated anyway? She and Night could have taken him easily. Perhaps it was some of that rare mercy that Jersey had taught her so long ago. Whatever the reason, the fool had returned and she now found a use for Kari. But, the dog had gone.
Getting out of ear shot and out of the Graveyard, Blu turned to Night. "We need Kari." she murmured quietly "The mutt has returned to the city." she began to trot towards the country "We need to get to the Country." dipping her head, she sniffed the ground and took off in the direction of her scent. Night would get to see his little girlfriend sooner than expected and Blu would get the blood of the mongrel that spilled hers.

Nightwing gave Kari a curt nod before she left and he followed after Blu, they stopped by the two newly shown dogs and at their remarks he bared his teeth in a threat and followed after Blu once more. He followed her out and he sighed to her as they were out of ear shot,"Kari could be of some use to us, we should get her to join us," he growled and his maw twisted into a grim smile, then Blu talked of going after her, he flinched at the thought of what she would do to Kari, but he had to follow her, she was all he had now and it was up to him to keep her trust in him, if she had any,"Ok then lets go after her," he growled and trotted up to meet her, he gave her a nice smile and he nodded in the direction the were about to take.

Zodiac watched as it seemed that the alpha meeting was over. The blue fea came near them and ordered that it was time to leave. She then looked to him and told him that the alpha who lived here was Magnum. Interesting name, well, better than those names used for the war. He then scented some thing, like another dog again. He tunred his head in the direction the smell wasa coming from. At that moment the blue fea went forward and after a bit she found two other brutes. So there was more of them here, and they too seemed to want to join. His icy blue eyes scanned the two new loners, then the other loner, Kari. She got up and started to leave, saying bye to Night.
Zodiac watched her go for a while before looking back at Night. What did he think of that at the moment? Then the blue fea started talking about them needing Kari, and that they were going after her. She was going to the country though? Would it be good if a city dog followed? Zodiac wasn't about to stop her though, nor Night. It seemed as if Night wanted to go though as well. Weird dogs, going into enemy territory. It kinda reminded him of himself when he was at war, and like Arrow. I bid you two good luck, Zodiac thought to himself. Then he tunred to where Magnum was and started to walk that way before halting. He tunred around again to see what the other two loners were doing.
Zodiac walked calmly over two him till he was looking at them. Zodiac didn't say much at all, and didn't want to speak. He just stood there looking at the two dogs with not much interest in his cold eyes. "If you are here to join this pack then we shall go together. Tis better than having to waste Magnum's time going seperately." Out of no where Zodiac talked with a rash voice. It was still hard from the war, and it might not ever get to be the same. No worries though, his voice just made him less readable. He seemed more like an emotionless dog at the moment, but in time could get better. His cold eyes will warm up at some point, and his voice will get less eiree. He waited to see if the other two loners wanted to join him, or give him their names.
