Just Perfect....

[Kari]

Perfect. Just perfect. I lost Blu's scent. Kari stopped on the side walk. The moon shone down on her fur. This place seemed familiar. She look at the sign next to her, it had a picture of a bus on it. Then suddenly she remebered this place now, this is where Kari sat loyaly all day waiting for Lucy to arrive. So if the bus stop was here she must have passed Lucy's house. She walked back down the street and found the smallest building. Even in the darkness of ngiht she recognized it. She walked up to the front door and walked in, everything about it was the same. Expect, no Lucy. Kari sighed a bit. Even though she hated to admit it, she missed Lucy. She walked through the kitchen and looked at the three bowls on the floor. She bumped against the old table and something fell on the floor in front of her. Movers. Please remeber to get the dogs. She read the small note. She looked up on the table, by the looks of it a book had been set on the note. So it wasn't Lucy's fault after all!

Kari sighed, it was to late now. She walked back out of the house and back down to the corner. Now if only she could find Blu's scent again. She wondered if Nightwing had followed her. At least she would have some company. The streets where a bit creep at night. She wasn't afraid. She just hated being alone at night. It kinda depressed her. She yawned, is she didn't find Blu's scent soon she would just head back to the Rango House and get some sleep.

[Blu]

Blu watched Kari enter the house and sighed. Was she the only one who accepted the humans were gone? She could care less, she even killed a few of them in her day. A true street dog, that was what she was. By the way Kari had been acting, she had lost her scent long ago, indeed Blu was down wind and she had taken a complex route to get to her destination unlike Kari who had probably taken the shortest.

Blu and black auds pricked as Kari emerged from the house again. Rising from her relaxed position, Blu stuck to the Shadows as she made her way towards Kari. Night was nowhere to be seen and his scent did not reach her nostrils. She could do anything to Kari without his or anyone else’s interference. She could end the dogs life right now and never have to see her face on the streets again. Normally, Blu wouldn’t think twice about murder but for now she needed Kari and had even grown to like the dog to a degree. Indeed, "Princess" was safe on the dark streets from her at least.

Stepping from the shadows a few feet away from Kari Blu spoke in her calm eerie tone "So, what are we waiting for Kari? Night?" she said with a teasing grin. But, before a retort could be given about Kari and Night's relationship, Blu changed the subject "I still have his scent, he passed through here...alone. Pity, the other mutt isnt with him" Of course, Kari knew nothing about that other dog and Blu herself cared little for what she wanted was the males throat bleeding and torn in her jaws. "Lonely night eh? City night are always eerie and foreboding to most." she murmured quite suddenly "Some call it a hell that exists on earth." she paused and a grin came across her maw "I call it home" Crystal eyes started at Kari with a dangerous glint though Blu had no intention of harming her as the Night pressed on.

[Kari]

Taichi

Taichi walked the streets alone, then two scents hit his nose. He looked far ahead, two females. One of them was Blu, he had heard of her. He looked at the other female, she looked exactly like mother. Why would mother be talking to Blu? Mother hated Blu. Wait a second, Blu called her Kari. That was his sister's name! So that's why she looked so much like mother! The pup stupidly just ran up. "Kari? Your Kari? Your my sister!" He barked happily, his tail wagging. He had found her! He almost forgot about Blu. He quickly turned to her and bowed, his mother always said show respect to leaders. And Blu was a leader. Blu scared him a bit, he was glad he had his sister. Blu didn't seem to want to hurt her. The thought never crossed his mind that Kari wouldn't believe him.

He looked at his sister waiting for a reply. His big brown eyes filled with happiness. She had mother's brown eyes too. She really was his sister! He nugded her and looked at her. He smiled, his tail wagging madly. No dog that looked like mother could be cruel. Of course he was never told of what his parents heard about Kari. No one ever told him she was a known killer. He didn't know it, but between his sister and Blu, he had gotten himself into a real jam.

Kari

Kari smiled a bit at Blu's little 'joke'. "What the hell?" She said looking at the pup that had run up to her. "I don't have a brother!" She growled. Her brown eyes stared ficerly at him. She bared her teeth and growled. She got a closer look at him. Man this dog looked like her father. She looked in his eyes. He had mother's eyes. She eased up a bit and walked around the pup. She gave Blu a look that said "Don't attack yet. He might not be lieing." She sat down in front of her the pup that was supposed to be her brother. It was possible her parents had another pup after Kari left when she was two. "How do I know your my brother?" Kari asked looking sternly at him. The up seemed to think. "When you where is trouble with father, he used to call you Hikari." The pup answered.

She still wasn't convinced. Then she saw a bird. To her surpirse the pup bolted out into the street after it and caught it between his paws. He began ripping it to shreds. He walked back to her with his maw covered in blood. "Sorry. I hate them. Little rats with wings." The pup said. Kari stared for a second. Then she smiled nastly. This pup really was her brother. But just because he was her brother she wasn't going to show him who was boss. She lunged and pinned him easily. She thought he would have put up a good fight, he had a good build. And he was her father's son for the love of God! "Disappointing." She said getting off him. "I would have thought the first son of Hawk would put up a decent fight." She said.

This pup acted like mother. Talk about ironic. She shot Blu a look that said "I hate to say it. But he really is my brother." She looked at the pup and glared at him ficerly. "You got a name?" She asked. "Taichi. You can call me Tai." Her brother answered. Great, now she had to drag Taichi around. But maybe it wouldn't be to bad. As long as he did what she said he should be fine. And maybe she could even train him to be a fighter like herself and Blu. "Taichi. Shut up and don't say a word. Got it?" She said. Her brother nodded and sat down beside her. "So where is this dog Blu?" Kari asked, completely ignoring the whole scene she had been through.
