Shadows of the Forgotten
RP Information

Season: Summer

Weather: Extremely hot and humid. City dogs will have a much harder time with this than country dogs as the city black top will attract much more heat than the green grass of the country. Long haried dogs are advised not to do much moving and all dogs are advised to stay near a water source as it is easy to die from heat exaustion.

The Plot
Its been months since the humans left. They disappeared without a trace. I don’t understand it, my Jessi was here one day and gone the next. I’m on my own now, I’m alone.
The city dogs are merciless, there planning to attack the country. They say that all the land belongs to them rightfully. I don’t believe them, but the Country dogs are antsy and unless this is taken care of we’ll all be hurdled into war. I’ve stayed near Rango Farm ever since my Jessie left. Only today have I ventured out. Takri's been taken good care of me and my pups but today I just need to clear my head. I’m so scared.

The Construction Lot...Jessi used to take me here a lot before I had my pups. We used to weave around the big metal poles and just have fun. Then the sun would set and we'd have to head home, but only after another weave through the rubble. I’d give anything for those days again...Just to go back an- Wait....is that? I think I smell do-

Suddenly a scream split the night and everything went quiet. A big boned mutt backed away from the lifeless corpse of a spotted dog. A snicker echoed through the night as his eyes danced with delight at the red liquid pouring from her throat. "War is on the wind. The scent of death and blood will cover these lands. I can feel the time growing closer every night. The city will have the country and all those against us will die. Just like you ignorant female." he growled before stepping into the shadows and diisapearing into the night.

Skylir sat in the shadow of an old car in at the edge of the junkyard. The car was old and rusty, all it’s windows smashed and its seating torn out, but it cast a shadow in the bright mid-morning light, among the heaps of trash. The junkyard was full of shadows; not a place to walk unawares. Skylir himself was almost invisible, sitting and leaning against the dirty metal of the car door. It was a trick he’d learned; he did not have dark fur, hiding was harder for him then for some. But if you sat very still, and thought yourself invisible- a shadow helped to, fading you a bit- you might as well have disappeared. So his coat was pale? There were very few dogs with the right color fur to hide well. Black wouldn’t work… shadows weren’t black. In fact, black among shadows stood out more then just Skylir’s dirty tan. Skylir’s strange eyes scanned the mounds of trash now, watchful despite the bored expression on his relaxed face. He looked into shadows… he’d been doing it all his life. It was the reason he was still alive, and many others weren’t. It was a knack, really looking, and few had learned it. His mind was on autopilot; if it saw something that didn’t fit, or need his attention, it would call the rest of his thoughts back.

He’d left the forest far behind, when it was still night. He was pretty sure he’d covered up all the blood, and the scent itself would soon be gone, with this heat. He’d laid the false trail to the lake, using some of the dried blood that had still caked his coat. He’d licked what remained off, afterwards… it matted his coat, did not feel good. He would have had a bath in the lake… but… well, he didn’t like baths. He didn’t like water in general, come to that. Then, as the first light of morning had leaked over the horizon and painted the lake and clouds a delicate pink, Skylir had been satisfied he’d done everything he could. Ember’s safety was in Takri’s clumsy paws now… no matter how determined, a dog couldn’t fight much with a broken leg and as many gashes as Ember. So the big dog had made his way to the city, slipping from the grassy fields to the burning asphalt as easily as ever. He’d slipped into the alleys, becoming a mere shadow between brick walls wavering in the heat. If Blu followed his fake trail that far, she’d be disappointed… trying to hunt down Skylir in a city was like trying to catch a cloud. Country dog, Blu had called him… no, he was a world dog, not city, not country. He’d roam where he pleased, and the war could go to hell. It probably wouldn’t though… the fighters would probably be the only things going to hell.

He’d come to the dump, because a dump had food. That rabbit yesterday morning seemed a long way off and very small. Sure, it had other dogs, but Blu wouldn’t be here… most likely. And if she was, so what? He could slip away again.. or better, if she was alone, fight her. Fresh meat wasn’t common in the city… you got your pick of whatever smelled ripest. So Skylir’s nose led him here, much to the displeasure of his taste buds. Yay, and old tire… yumm. He’d found some chicken, grey and brittle with age, and that had been lunch. Skylir would eat anything; you never knew when your next meal would be. That didn’t mean he had to enjoy what he ate, though. You learned not to be picky, when you were the hunter with the skill of a rock. At least crusty chicken couldn’t run. It wasn’t at that stage yet… so Skylir’s thought ran, as he lounged in the shadow. Other things flashed by on a lower level of his mind, like, ’You’re only thinking about chicken so you won’t think about the fact that you’re abandoned someone in need’. Skylir pushed those thoughts away; he didn’t need them. He didn’t have anything to be guilty about. Nothing.

White paws hit the ground softly, long, thick, sharp claws grazed the hard earth as Blitzz trotted through the trash heaped piles of junk her fur was matted and her icy blue eyes shone from the dark depths of the brush. Her maw revealed sharp teeth, and a dark expression on her face showed that she was not in a mood to be messed with. Her icy blue orbs darted back and forth, and her white auds were pricked in sign of any danger. At any other time she would have looked like one of those inocent loners, who are weak and vulnerable, but her fur was on end and mangled in such a way that it seemed as if she was rabid. Her lean body moved siletly even though the dark Junk Yard was an open spot for her to be seen, her pelt was as white as a new fallen snow but she did a good job of masking it. The sun was beginging to rise in the early morning sky and the dark outlines of the bulding splattered the land with the color of blood, reaching her and enveloping her own pelt in the dark color. She pricked her ears at the sound of another dog, a city dog, no it seemed to be a loner, maybe one such as herself, perhaps her next victem, but he seemed different a bit darker than the average city dog or loner, victim or ally she had to meet this dog and discuse her plans for this awaiting of the war. Her face hardened as she looked around but could not find this dog, her nose rose in the air and she brought in a strong smell of the trash and metal that inhabited this dark lot. Her eyes softened as she saw a dusted pelt in a mangled up old ford truck, he seemed to be in a train of thought and yet he had a very sad look on his face,'What is wrong with this dog, he doesn't look like he is in too much harm,' she thought to herself. She layed down not too far from this dusty dog and rested her head on her paws and she began to slip away into the thoughts of her past life, and the owner she once had. Kim, but one day she spoke of this place called college, and her parents seemed happy about this new word, but it was not happy at all. Kim left and promised to return on holidays, whatever those were, but she never came back, and her parents soon died. She never even came to her parents funeral, and Blitzz thought that she had died also. One day she came back, but she was different, and she didn't remember Blitzz, she hurt her and kicked her, yelling at her to leave. So Blitzz slipped off one night, and she has been alone ever since, she found out that Kim had died in a car crash, and even though her heart was torn apart she cried for her lost owner. Her eyes filled with tears, her attitude towards life was mean and wrong, but she didn't want to be this way, she just needed someone to care for her and never leave her side, but she had never gotten close enough to any dog to let them get close to her, she was scared, scared that thsi dog would be like Kim and leave her all alone, but she had to try to be good to someone, and she would have to find them today.

The sun had beat down unforgiving on the dry land all morning. It seemed clear the land would not be rescued by a cloud to cover up the sun. Fortunately, it cast shadows and that, is what Jersey enjoyed most about the burning orb. Laying the shadow of an old garbage heap, Jersey was quickly drifting off to sleep, those last thoughts lingering in her head when a scent other than garbage and twisted metal, hit her like a lead brick.

Getting to her feet, Jersey sniffed the air, indeed, another dog had wandered into what she called home.
Creeping through the shadows, Jersey came out behind the dog and car. Staying quiet a distance away, Jersey simply watched the dog. Staying in the shade just as she. Duh, most dogs knew to stay out of the heat, or, some of them did.

Jersey prepared to jump onto the car when suddenly, another dog entered. She sat somewhat away from the first and seemed to just sit there. Both seemed to be somewhat depressed. Why was that? It was a beautiful day and these 2 weren’t being torn apart by another dog. Perfect, no?

Pricking her auds, Jersey, bunched her muscles again, amber eyes still glued to the dogs in front of her. With a silent snicker, Jersey leapt easily onto the car and from there, to the ground to land a few feet in front of the dogs. Just as her paws hit the earth, Jersey whirled around to face the them.

"Well, Hi ya strangers." she barked, looking the dogs over. Sitting on her haunches, Jersey winked at the male and nodded to the female "Names Jersey, the rebel of the city, and yours would be?" she barked with a questioning yet light hearted stare to them both.

Skylir caught the flicker of moment farther off among the piles of junk; a white pelt, slipping among the shadows. White… the only color really hard to hide. While his coat was light, is was tan, not white; white glowed in darkness; you couldn’t hide white anywhere but a windowless cellar at midnight. If you knew the tricks you could make yourself overlooked, but white… he pitied white dogs. His mind did the equivalent of tapping him on the shoulder, and his thoughts jerked away from him. He watched the pale dog approach, not about to run from some random mutt. His face was as blank as ever, his eyes the eyes of an idiot. I’m just a stupid thick city mutt… he thought to himself, hoping the scents of all the garbage would mask the fresh whiff of the country on him. It probably would, with a day as hot as this. This dog was alone, so he was sure he could take her, but he really didn’t want to get any deeper into this mess then he already was. He dropped his effort at concealment… which was probably why Jersey saw him. He stood, his strange eyes still on the white dog. She just came up and laid down… what was she, some kind of idiot? Laying there… thinking, with a strange and dangerous dog a few yards away. She must be a thinker… Skylir had nothing against thinking, but he did have something against thinkers.

As he rose, something moved at the edge of his vision. Aware that the wind would carry his scent in that direction, not the other way around, he tense, ready for a fight. He was alert at all times… even when he aware he was watching, he watched. Skylir was only two, but life had already taught him many things, and alertness was one of the first lessons. He saw her leap, without taking in any other details. His instincts screamed, ‘attacker!’, urged him to jump up to meet her. He crushed down the fighting instincts, though, his mind already processing little clues. First, leaping up to fight on a car was a bad idea; he was bigger, he wouldn’t have as much space to maneuver. He could push her off… but that wouldn’t be necessary. Her muscles never really relaxed, his trained eye had noticed even as there was only a split-second for though; she’d coming down. She couldn’t be lunging at him, either, since he was up against the car and therefore at an impossible angle for a jump like that. All this was taken in, processed, and spat out with Skylir’s own action in less then the blink of an eyes. He didn’t move to counter the other dog’s jumps in any way; he dropped into a crouch, his own muscles tense for a fight, hi neck protected by jaws that had parted to reveal his teeth.

If Jersey had not spoken… Skylir had had a bit of a rough day yesterday and was on edge; who knows what he might have done. This dog had come bounding over, unannounced and from behind. Skylir had a bit of a problem with people coming at him from behind; it did not make him happy. He was a street dog, and usually when someone came at you from behind they did not mean you well. But as soon as the dog turned, Skylir saw there was not threat… at the moment. He knew that expression; he was in for some ‘cheerfulness’. Great. He couldn’t rip out her throat for being friendly, though. In an instant he had relaxed again, his hackles down, his expression blank. Skylir had gone from, ‘ready for a fight’, to ‘bored out of mind’ faster then anyone would have thought possible. He leisurely sat back down, the only dog in the shade since he still sat beside the battered old car.

Great, yet another dog after his name… ‘Skylir’ wasn’t safe around here, and Skylir knew better then to go around making up names. Your name was attached to you… it was who you were. People could tell when a name was not yours by how you reacted to it. No, it was simpler simply to keep his name to himself. Both these dogs, he was going to hazard, were strays, no belong to a gang. That could change, though, or Blu could catch them and ‘question’ them. So he simply watched Jersey blankly, silent.

Blitzz snapped out of her past as a bit of movement caught her attention, another dog oh goody, she thougth to herself. Her eyes narrowed as the dog in the shadow of the car was getting a bit aggresive, and she cocked her head in confusion as he crouched down in an attack position. Her white auds pricked at the soudn of the other dog approaching. This new dog, Jersey, was a bit too cheerful, she winked at the dog in the car, and nodded to Blitzz, Blitzz lifted one eyebrow and nodded back,"The names Blitzz, and yours," she asked lifting her head to the dog in the shadow of the car.

The sun started to seep through the clouds and rise up over the buildings, and it warmed her thin white pelt. She closed her eyes and slipped into memories. It made her fur rise in anger at the thought of all the lost years sitting in that house waiting for Kim to return, waiting for one last pet on the head or rub on the belly, but when she did return, she kicked Blitzz out of her life. Even when she died form the car accident, Blitzz was sad, she cried for her abusive owner. Her life was very different after that and brutts hurt her, so she had to teach herself how to fight and hunt and kill. She never wanted to but she had been born to the city and so she had never known of the country until one day she ventured out too far and found the peaceful lands. She was so acustomed to the city life that the soft sounds and scents of the country scared her. So she went back to the city and every so often she would go out to the country just to be there.

Her white fur glowed in the morning sun and she rolled on her back in a rather unlady-like fashion, and her long pink tongue lolled out of her mouth. When she arose to her feet the dirt was stuck to her back and made her pelt look dusty and grey. She turned her head to look at it, and she shook her pelt free of the clinging dust. Her eyes stuck out from her fur like gems, and she closed them letting her past soak into her mind. She had to get to know someone, and she had find someone that woudn't mind her unlady-like fashion, someone that could look past all that, but she had never met someone who had ever been like that.

As she saw that the male didn’t want to say his name Jersey put on her normal teasing grin. "So be it." she murmured quietly. The other answered without a second thought as to the consequences. She could have been an ally to any one of the gangs around the city. She could have been sent in search to kill someone namely her. But, alas, Jersey was neither. Still, it told her straight up who was more intelligent or shall we call "street-smart".

She could care less if her name was known. She was good for evading any dog and could slip here and there without another’s knowing with ease. Just one of her many talents.
As Blitz asked the other dog for his name Jersey smirked "He's not saying, cant you take a hint?" With that, Jersey trotted gingerly over to the car and leapt a top the hood. With yet another easy leap, she found herself at the top and looking down at the 2 dogs. Unlike them, her build was perfect for slipping here and there as well as for balance. She loved it.

"Why so depressed you two? The day is young, the sun does shine." she paused "Unless your blood spilled on the asphalt road is being asked for by Blu or Magnum, you have nothing to worry about?" she barked with another cocky grin.

Yes, the white dog- Blitzz- was very odd, Skylir decided. She almost made Takri look smart… here she was, with two strange dogs, and she was pretty much paying them no attention. She’d told this other dog her name, right off the bat, like some friendly country dog; life was so much simpler out there in the country. She’d asked Skylir’s name, yes, apparently unable the obvious meaning of his silence… but then she’d closed her eyes. Yes, a thinker, a dreamer… Skylir had met her kind before. He’d found them hard to understand; thinking belonged in the present, where it could help you with your problems; you didn’t just sit there and think about other things, like dreamers did… their problems usually caught up with them very fast. They often didn’t know what hit them… because they couldn’t keep their head where it belonged, someone else made sure it wasn’t where it belonged, or at least not pointing in the right direction. He decided he might as well ignore her; dreamers often didn’t agree with his views on life, and he hadn’t liked the look this one gave him earlier.

This other dog, though… one to be watched. Skylir didn’t trust her. His strangely blank eyes watched her as she hopped up onto the car behind him, and he shifted. The movement was hardly noticeable, almost impossible to see since he sat in a shadow, so that Jersey remained in his line of sight. At least until he had a better idea who she was, he wasn’t going to do anything, which included taking his eyes off her. She’d tried to sneak up behind him, and that put Skylir on his guard automatically. The words following her prattle about sun and young days surprised him, but none of it showed on his face. His was a face that was stupidly blank by nature; a gift, he’d decided long ago. So… it could have been an innocent comment, or she could actually know something. In one case, stepping carefully would be a bad idea; it’d tell her she’d hit upon something by accident. On the other hand, it didn’t really matter. He considered his options. There was, of course, silence; draw out something else, get her to make another veiled comment. Or he could try and draw a response. He just needed a few moments to think of something…

Yay for Blitzz. She choose that moment to decide rolling in trash was on today’s agenda. He watched her, letting his normal blankness change for a moment to faint bemusement. Yup, weird dog. There was something wrong with her brain. She’d shaken herself off, and now her eyes were closed. Again. Well, at least the odds were in the favor of something putting her out of her misery soon, if she carried on like this. ”Jersey” he said, not turning his head from watching Blitzz. Not that he couldn’t see Jersey quite clearly, he just didn’t appear to be looking at her. He wasn’t about to take his eyes off that one… he simply wanted to see how she reacted to her name. There were tiny signs, things you wouldn’t notice unless you knew what you were looking for, when you said a dog’s name. Mostly in the eyes, but there was some body language too. He didn’t trust her, and he didn’t trust that ‘Jersey’ was her real name. His flat voice went on, ”Yes, Blu is definetly after us. ‘Specially Blitzz. She’s a dangerous, sly criminal, that one; can’t you tell?”

She was now completely oblivious to the on called Blitz. She could care-less what the dog did. She'd be dead soon, one run in with Blu and she was gone. Jersey's maw twisted in a little smile at the thought.

As the other dog said her name, Jersey lay her head on her "Yes?" she murmured in her teasing little tone. As he went on to say that Blitz was a killer and criminal, the sickening smile returned and she sat up "So I see. Indeed, she seems completely the type Brains, Braun. Or lack of" she snickered in a sarcastic tone. "Hm, doggie, now what do you mean by us if she's some sort of "Criminal" " she said the last word mockingly, keep Blitz in the corner of her eye in case she hit a nerve.

The grin continued as she awaited an answer from the dog with a "Well?" expression.

Blitzz opened her eyes and they were burning with anger, she was trying to act like she wasn't the dog she really was, but this Jersey was really pushing it. Her icy blue eyes were mean and in a death glare that would make Blu flinch. She rose to her paws and her fur rose in fury. She snapped at the dog in the shade of the car,"If you really want to see what Blu might do why don't you get to know me better, rather than acting like a pup with your cry puppy, whinny ass comments," she growled, her maw revealed thorn sharp teeth and her claws dug into the dirt in frustration as she snapped her head towards Jersey,"And you need to shut your ass up, you are a bitch like I have never seen and if you really want to see who has the lack of brains and bruan then come over here and say that to me shorty," she growled menicingly. Her eyes darted back and forth from the two dogs, she had taken out many dogs in one fight and two would be now problem, especially Jersey, she was all talk and no action and she would be dead in a minute or two. Her gaze was not at all what it had been a minute ago, it had gone from a soft daydream expression to a rabid killer in less than a second. She gave both of them the look that said,'Come on I dare ya,' and she was on the edge of her patience.

Skylir gave Jersey a blank star, this time a genuine one. Jersey was her name; he was sure of it now. So she hadn’t lied. If she was untrustworthy, she was not a stupid untrustworthy dog. ”Hm, doggie, now what do you mean by us if she's some sort of ‘Criminal’”. What was that supposed to mean? His opinion of this dog slipped down a notch. Them that suck at sarcastic comments, he thought to himself, should really not attempt them. Was that particular failed one intended for him or Blitzz? What the hell was it supposed to mean, anyway? No matter… he didn’t have to say a word. Ah, too bad… there were so many way he could have answered that particular piece of stupidity. Yes again, though, Blitzz got to it first. Apparently the words weren’t needed; the tone was enough. Perhaps Blitzz hadn’t even listened to the words, with the comebacks she was spouting out.

Oh dear… Blitzz seemed to have gotten into a rage. Easily angered, wasn’t she? An little amateur like Jersey could get to her… he’d have to remember that this one’s pride was especially susceptible to his attentions. He stared back at her coolly as she exploded on him and Jersey; he’d never found angry dogs very scary. Someone got angry… it proved they were only mortal, and a fool to boot, to let anger leak out like that. Control… that was the key. When you faced a dog who was really cool, and you could see no anger behind their eyes, only steel… that was the time to be scared. Master your rage, and others will fear you. It is not the dog that snarls the loudest who you have to worry about; it is the quiet one in the corner, with the cold, cold eyes. He sat calmly as she spouted her litany, not impressed at all. When she had finished, he stood. He towered over Blitzz, and it was all muscle.

”I’ve seen what Blu does,” he said, his voice as calm and flat as ever. It was, somehow, much more frightening then any snarl could ever be, ”You think you’re Blu? I’ve seen Blu flee, and I’ve been the cause of it. Are you going to flee, dog?” His eyes, one a pale blue, the other half green, half brown, bored into the white dog’s. They reflected the sunlight eerily from the half-darkness of the car’s shadow. He knew that those words gave what he had been hiding away… but what was the point? He wanted news that a dog of his description had come back to the city. Drag the attention away from the country, away from Ember. If one of these dogs was a snitch… so what?”As for Jersey ‘shutting her ass up’… she, unlike you, uses her head, not her ass, to speak. Perhaps you should try it… shorty.” He was between Blitzz and Jersey, standing in the shadows while the others stood in sunlight. He was quite prepared to fight; it showed in his stance. He’d dealt with a lot in the past few hours, and he had had quite enough of the world without having to deal with yet more fools. Make one threatening move, the angry little bit inside his head, the one he’d locked in a prison of ice, whispered to him, if she’ll just make one threatening move….

Jersey grinned a top the car, her amber gaze bearing down upon the exploding dog. How sad, but entertainment was entertainment. So, she had hit a nerve? well, she knew how to keep track with this one, the only one who really bothered her into something like fear was the male. He, like her, was intelligent. Not intelligent like the country dogs, that was completely different, no he had smarts only gained on the streets, yet he smelled of both the city and country.

"Indeed I am a bitch, like you. I prefer the term female though" she barked. All female dogs were called bitiches, it was the proper term, and this doh had tried to use it has an insult to a female? Pure stupidity, think before you speak. Hell, think before you breathe, the key was to be quick but not rash.

Shorty? Funny, in height Jersey was equal to her, if not taller, only difference was Jersey was slim and fast. As the other dog stood up to stand somewhat of a challenge to other Jersey cocked her head to the side. Was he defending her? Nah, no way, he wasnt the type but then he didn’t seem like the type to jump up and fight for no reason either.

Her muscles tensed with readiness but her eyes shone with a teasing humor that gave nothing away. Her eyes could be changed to mirror her emotions or display the opposite. She could control her eyes, emotions, and body with ease. It seemed that this Blitz could not.

Blitzz sighed and her fur lied flat once again. The only reason she gave her name out like a free book was because she didn't worry too much, she felt as though her name didn't matter anymore, it had no meaning to her and she didn't care who knew it. She kept her stance yet her mind was calming, she was tired and very irritable so her patience and her anger was unstable. Her mind was twisted and she could not make a decision, it was frustrating for her, but she had to show her control now, she knew she had it and she would show them she had it too. Her icy blue orbs were steel hard and yet her calm mood made them look eery. She breathed in a slower manor and she seemed calm. She turned her gaze to Jersey,"Oh you are a female, well I'm sorry I thought to were a male, you sure act like one," she retorted calmly, and then she turned to the other dog,"No I do not think I am Blu, she is an ass hole and I don't think anyone is like her, and if they think they are, well then lets just say that those kind of dogs should be locked away. I do not think with my ass, I do on the other hand shit with it and I could give you a demontration if you want. I really don't care if you chased Blu away, she is all talk and no action and she makes me sick," she replied calmly, her eyes had lost their fire and they let off an eery yet steely glow.

Oh, yes… now we had Blitzz trying to act cold. There was a sight to see. He stayed standing in his place, unmovable as a mountain, his strange flat eyes still fixed on the dog before him. She seemed never to have learned the coolness; it was almost more ridiculous then the anger. And her words... how sad. Yes, he thought again… some people just shouldn’t attempt sarcasm. He listened as Blitzz made the attempt… and as her words crashed in a burning, twisted pile of letters. Were those insults? Were they supposed to sound intelligent? His face was still void of expression; if it had been likely to show any, it would have been one of faint amusement. ”Jersey acts like a male?” he said conversationally, ”That must be compared to you… I’m sorry, I don’t happen to agree with your low opinion of females.” He raised one massive paw, as if to step forwards, but his cold voice went on. ”Shit with it? Yes, of course you do; you are right now. I said you speak with your ass; that’s why everything you say is bullshit.”

The paw landed, still in the shadows of the car. Skylir’s weight shifted forwards onto it, slowly, slowly, as if he was stalking a rabbit. ”All talk and no action… why does that description also come to mind when I think of the name Blitzz? And, since I believe earlier you said, ’If you really want to see what Blu might do, why don't you get to know me better.’ So, if Blu is all talk and no action, does that mean you’re simply going to talk to me? If so, I hope you don’t mind me going to sleep.” Yes, Skylir could quote what another had said; he had a strange memory that picked up things that might be useful and popped them back out at the right time. It was very useful, for his picking apart of lies, as well as for twisting other's words back on them. The other dirty tan paw rose, moving forwards like the hand of a sleepwalker. It landed with a quiet thump, only audible in the silence of the dead dump. That small sound was almost a challenge; Skylir had stepped forwards, a move that could be considered a threat. They were each a lunge away from each other, on a slope strewn with jagged garbage. Skylir, his eyes blank and emotionless, standing in a shadow; Blitzz, with the morning sun caught in her white fur, standing facing him.

He had a plan now… this dog seemed to change to fit the situation. Anger didn’t work… she attempted coolness, which really didn’t work for her. Perhaps a few words, in the right places, and a fight could be avoided… and… or... he could get something he wanted. His voice came again, ”But you think you can take Blu? Perhaps you should prove that. I can find her for you, and you can fight her. And we’ll see where your mangled body turns up.” This time it was not an insult, but a challenge; Blitzz could accept, or be labeled a bragging coward who wasn’t about to try and live up to her words. Skylir had given her a choice, tacked her down with simple words. Coward, or dead? She might attempt to say he couldn’t do it himself; but that would only allow him to point out that, yes, he had, and was she trying to wiggle out of something? He watched her, his face showing as much thought as a brick wall, his eyes blank windows into nothing.

As Blitz mouthed off without making any real sense Jersey merely sat on top of her car, that teasing grin on her face. "Oh you are a female, well I'm sorry I thought to were a male, you sure act like one". She acted like a male? And whom was rolling in the trash but a mere moments ago? "Your one to pass judgment." she said calmly. Her muscles were tense with readiness but her hackles lay flat and her voice remained even. Her eyes had their teasing cocky glint, but no anger shown.

"No I do not think I am Blu, she is an ass hole and I don't think anyone is like her, and if they think they are, well then lets just say that those kind of dogs should be locked away. I do not think with my ass, I do on the other hand shit with it and I could give you a demonstration if you want. I really don't care if you chased Blu away, she is all talk and no action and she makes me sick," It took all will power the black and tan female possessed to stop her from laughing out loud. "Blu? Blu, wouldn’t waste anytime on you. Hell, I highly doubt she'd fight you anyway, you wouldn’t be worth her time." She murmured. "All talk no action?" Jersey snickered "Well, we shall see eh?"

With that Leapt off the car at an Angle that put her Diagonal to Skylir and straight across from Blitz. "I know more of Blu's ways than either of you. I know the way she thinks, the way she speaks. I even know what move she is going to make before she does." Jersey Grinned "We go way back."

Blitzz let a small smile creep across her maw,"Oh then you aren't as stupid as your gaze lets on," she growled, and as the huge dog stepped forward she grinned and put her own paws up to step forward. Her gaze then turned to Jersey but her eyes never left the tall dog int front of her,"Ha, you and Blu go way back, yeah right, she tears apart any loner she sees and the only dog who would really know anything about her would be her compainion, that border collie, Nightwing is his name I think, so don't try to act as if you know her or have even talked to her outside of battle," she growled her hackles were raised and her teeth bared, she was ready for anything and she would tear them apart. Her gaze turned back to the tall dog in front of her, she smiled meniacly,"You won't live to see her again and if you did, you would be torn to peices, she is hunting you ya know," she growled and without any warning she lunged at the tall dog her teeth were aimed for his neck.
