Alexander sat all alone in a table in McDonalds. Everyone needed a mid-day meal, and this was what he chose to eat. He had a big mac, large fries, and a chocolate shake in front of him. He had been there for twenty minutes now, and he was nearly finished with his meal. He glanced behind him as he felt a block hit the back of his neck, and he glared at the little girl, who looked to be about 7. She was grinning uncontrollably at him as she began to stack blocks as if nothing had happened.
Alex just shook his head and turned back to his meal as he thought about what to do today. There was so much to do in Miami, he just had to figure out what he wanted to do.
Carleigh stepped into the McDonalds and ordered a simple coffee, then sat down directly across from Alex- even though she'd never met him before. "Hi there." she said, grinning slightly and looking at the block that had just hit him on the head.
Alex arched a brow at the girl who'd sat down across from him as he took a big bite from his burger. As he finished chewing, he glanced back at the little girl to make sure she wasn't planning on throwing another block at him. He looked back at Carleigh and smiled at her. "Hi." he said, picking up his shake and taking a long drink.
"Yup." Alex said, smiling still at Carleigh. She was pretty. "How'd you know that, though? We just started this whole 'being a band' thing." he laughed slightly, arching a brow at her.
"Derex is my roommate." Carleigh replied with a chuckle, looking at Alex's empty tray and standing up. "Come on, let's do the whole walk and talk thing." One thing she could pride herself on: spunk.
Alex smirked, stood up, and grabbed his tray. He nodded and walked to the trash can where he discarded his trash and his tray before glancing back at Carleigh. "What might be your name?" he asked, offering her a friendly smile.
"Carleigh. Carleigh Kavanaugh." she replied, smiling and putting her oversized, Jackie O-esque sunglasses on. "And you're Alexander Myers, drummer extraordinaire."
"I guess my reputation preceeds me." Alex said in a joking manner, grinning now as they walked out the doors. He shoved his hands in his pockets. He didn't have a car, so they would be walking to wherever they were going unless she wanted to drive. "How do you know Derex?"
"You're also appearantly a very good fuck." Carleigh noted. "I know the majority of your conquests." a smirk crossed her pretty face. "I know Derex because I sort of...popped into his apartment. I was looking for a rommate and he just happened to need one, I guess."
Alex raised his eyebrows at Carleigh, then he shook his head. There was no way she could know of his 'conquests' (not that there were many in the first place) since he had only been in town for a short amount of time. He figured she was just joking.
"Well that's cool." he replied to her second comment with a nod. "Maybe we'll be seeing a lot of eachother then." he shrugged.
