Telling Minako

[Sailor Mars]

"Minako-chan! Minako!" Rei cried, fervently pushing the buzzer for her blonde friend's home. "It's Rei!"

[sailor venus]

"Rei?!" Minako was startled when she heard Rei's voice. Not knowing Mars already had her soul shard taken away, Minako ran to the door, thinking Rei was danger. She opened the door and saw Rei,"Rei-chan! Whats wrong? Who's after you?! Hurry, come in!"

[Sailor Mars]

Rei quickly and wordlessly entered to the sound of Minako panicking, and shut the door behind her. Seeing no one else was in the house, she sighed gravely. "It's not who's after me anymore. It's who's after you."

[sailor venus]

Minako blinked,"You mean... you mean they've taken your's already?"

[Sailor Mars]

Though she was surprised that Minako guessed it so quickly, Rei nodded. "Which means they'll be after you now, instead of both fo us." she said. "I'm sorry, because this will complicate things for you."

[sailor venus]

Minako looked away from Rei, saying softly,"Gomen... but they've already taken mine's.."

[Sailor Mars]

"What?! Minako! And you didn't tell us!" Rei exclaimed. She was silent for a moment, feeling slightly guilty at her outburst. "I'm sorry." Rei apologized after a very awkward pause. "It's just...you know what this means, don't you?"

[sailor venus]

Minako nodded,"This means vexzel will be back soon. there is a chance he won't though, I can't assure it but I think I damaged the soul shard that was inside me."

[Sailor Mars]

Rei looked confused and thought it over, but nothing came. "How so?" she asked.

[sailor venus]

Minako answered,"Well, I used my crescent beams and I got a direct hit at it. But Thanatos took it away before I could check if it was shattered. There could be a chance that it broke."

[Sailor Mars]

Rei nodded slowly. "Wow." she said after a moment. "That's actually pretty impressive. So you're saying there still might be some hope?"

[sailor venus]

Minako nodded,"There might. Unless Thanatos someone gets to recover it, but that might take some time. But at least we can plan something out before Vexzel returns."

[Sailor Mars]

"Plan something?" Rei sat down on a couch near where they were standing and raised her eyebrows. "Like what?"

[sailor venus]

Minako sweatdroppped as she took a seat besides Rei,"Actually, I was thinking of leaving the thinking stuff up to you."

[Sailor Mars]

A huge sweatdropped appeared on Rei's forehead. "Well, lovely." she said sarcastically. "But really, it's not a bad idea to have a plan. Let's start with this: we should start out by never being in the same room together. Not only would this help if one of was captured, it would also save my sanity."
