For me i was looking for new artists to listen to , and i found her~ Her music got me addicted right away! When i saw some of her PVs i became a full-fleged hitomi fan! Her style is awesome, and for being one of the oldest female jpop artists she is beautiful~ Even without makeup she looks great! I really hope she will become more popular and can continue her career for as long as she wants~ Go hitomi!!

One thing for sure is that she has an amazing and unique music style. Very different and refreshing! The PVs are extravagant and interesting. She can play guitar, which is so cool! I absolutely love her voice. She's really beautiful and really know what fashion is. Also, she writes a lot of her own lyrics. Although she's less popular now, I think her music will remain as great as it had been for a really long time. Ten years in the music industry and still rocking! :D

Well her Japanese Girl song/PV got me into her. I didn't care for her voice but I found myself walking around singing "I'm just a Japanese girl." I admire alot about her. One being a successful singer, mother, and wife.

hitomi was the first JPop artist that I have ever listened to; when I was listening to Samurai Drive I was just hooked because it sounded quite different from teh stuffs that I've been listening to. So i looked for more of her stuff and when I finally listened to the whole thermo plastic album I was a full hitomi fan ^.^ I also like her style and her image, she's really beautiful! I hope more people will like hitomi because she's really a great artist.

hitomi is on top of my jpop list, i especially like her because of her voice, it's totally different than other jpoper

Well, for one, she's unique, she's pretty, and I love her voice. Everytime I see her, I always think, "I have to work out so I can look like that!" I think she's a good lyrics writer as well.

And like souldoutt said, she's got style.

i love how even after 10+ years she can still continue to make great, original music.

about her as a person : I like her style & her looks. and I like how she writes her own lyrics and stuff.

about her music : I like her unique voice / singing style , I think her singing always sounds like it's full of emotion. and I really like the way she combines rock with digital effects like distorted voices and stuff. It's great

Me, I like her style...She is AMAZING. I was in total awe watching her fashion show live dvd. I love everything about her music old or new. I idolize the woman *-*

Well... I can write a mini-essay on this... but I'll keep it simple.

(1) Everyone has mentioned hitomi's unique voice. But I would like to mention how hitomi has such great technique and control of her voice - something especially evident in Traveler, where she sounds almost like a totally different singer from the singer of Huma-Rhythm.

(2) hitomi is one of the most beautiful Japanese women ever. I agree absolutely with Infinity07, who says that hitomi still looks great without makeup. A lot of people say that Ayumi Hamasaki and BoA, for example, are heavily dependent on an army of stylists to help them look good, and whether that's true or not, I don't know. But hitomi definitely doesn't need makeup to look beautiful!

(3) hitomi's Sexy with a capital S. For me, she is The Body in J-Pop, has been for a long time. And she is one of the oldest singers in Japan!

(4) Finally, hitomi is simply a wonderful musician and lyricist. She makes music that touches the heart, and writes lyrics that don't try to be abstract but instead strikes you with their directness and honesty.

I really hope we see a lot more of hitomi over the next few years, she still has so much to offer!

I love her whole image,and I think she's really talented.
