Coruscant Coruscant, the very heart of the Galactic Republic and beyond that the known Galaxy. A sprawling city-world populated by billions upon billions of beings of all shapes and sizes, it has a little bit of everything. As the center of all trade routes and home to the Galactic Senate, Coruscant is without question among the most influential worlds in all of the Republic. Kuat Kuat is located in the Kuat system, in Kuat Sector, in the Core Worlds near the Deep Core. It is a terraformed planet of forests and plains, having been colonized around the time the Galactic Republic itself was formed. Corellia Corellia iss the capital planet of the Corellian system, which included Selonia, Drall, Tralus, and Talus. Collectively, the planets of the system are known as the Five Brothers. As the largest planet and the closest to Corell, Corellia is often called the "Eldest Brother" or the "Eldest." Ryloth Ryloth, also known as Twi'lek, is the harsh, rocky homeworld of the Twi'leks, an Outer Rim Territories world located on the Corellian Run and forming one endpoint of the Death Wind Corridor. Its day and year are identical, so that one side perpetually faced its sun and the other remained in darkness, a phenomenon known as tidal locking. Onderon/Dxun Onderon has four moons. Dxun, the primary moon, once orbited very close to the planet, allowing some animals to fly between the planet and the moon. The other three moons are Dagri, Evas and Suthre. The native Humans of Onderon struggled against the beasts, eventually gathering new technologies and building a huge walled city, Iziz, to protect themselves. Like the people of many other fringe worlds, the Onderonians have a distrust of non-Humans. Dxun, despite being temperate and habitable, the jungles of Dxun posed major challenges for everyone struggling to survive there. Due to its constant rains and wet climate, mechanical devices did not last long and required continuous maintenance. Moreover, the jungles were inhabited by many dangerous predators such as bomas, cannoks, drexls, maalraas, Skreevs, and zakkegs, forcing the moon's inhabitants to be armed at all times. Mandalore Taungs under the leadership of Mandalore the First settled the planet prior to 7,000 BBY. They drove the native mythosaurs to extinction, using their skeletons to construct cities of bone. The planet was named after the great leader. The Taungs thereafterwards called themselves Mandalorians. The Mandalorians traveled from Mandalore and conquered many worlds. After failing to conquer Onderon, they briefly settled on its moon Dxun. The Mandalorians adopted other species into their ranks, and the last of the original Taung species eventually died out due to the Mandalorian Neo-Crusaders all-out attempt to conquer the Republic during the Mandalorian Wars. Hapes Located near the center of the Hapes Cluster, Hapes is the sole planet of the Hapes system. Due to the light reflected off of the seven moons surrounding Hapes and the shimmering nebulae of the Transitory Mists, the inhabitants of Hapes have never experienced true night, and as such tend to have poor night vision. The surface iss marked by large oceans, forests, and mountains. Csilla Csilla, the homeworld of the Chiss, is a cold world of glaciers and snowy wastes located deep within Chiss Space in the Unknown Regions. Locked in an ice age for millennia, Csilla forced many socioeconomic and technological changes upon the Chiss once they chose it as their capital, but few physical changes. Contrary to beliefs in a link between the Chiss skin color and the Csillan temperature, scientists have concluded that the Chiss’ blue skin is caused by a mineral found in the Csillan hydrosphere. Vjun Vjun (or Vijjun) is a dark, lifeless planet known for its acidic rainfalls and resultant lack of plant life. It's also renowned for its expensive hand-woven tunics. From a political standpoint, Vjun isn't worth thinking about and is even less of a vacation spot leaving it mostly ignored and forgotten by the Republic and beyond that by the galaxy at large.
