Well, I do appreciate your contributions ^_^ But you need to fill out every field. If you need help, PrettyPinkPwny's been quite helpful helping others out submitting their ideas. You should see if he'll help out with your ideas.

I'm working on submissions for Marth and Roy right now. I plan on doing something for Game & Watch later, but I'm kind of wondering how I'm going to describe his >+B attack (Judgement).

The Weight, Size, Power, Jump, and Speed fields have been changed to hopefully give more detail about the character's stats. A few other fields have been altered as well, there's now only one Home Stage field and the Taunt > and Taunt < have been combined into Taunt < or >.

Just a small issue with the characters submitted. Not the choice of characters or nothing but the form in which the special moves are being submitted. I've changed the form a bit in the special moves section, please set your forms up accordingly, this way it makes it easier and quicker for me to finish some pages and I don't have to search the special move descriptions for the minimum and maximum damage the attacks cause. I appreciate those of you who have already made this change in the form and would appreciate those who make the change after reading this.

Example
Standard Special: Fireball (2%-6%) - Description of attack.
(Bold and italics aren't necessary)

Overall, keep up the great work guys. ^_^

Once accepted by the Judge's Panel (that is, of course, if that is still in effect), all characters, stages, etc make it on site. In recent times, many of the judges went inactive, so there has been a huge backlog. If you're interested in having your submission appear faster, its best to polish it up as best as you possibly can, so there are no flaws for anyone to point out~

Could you maybe limit the example ratings to canon characters where possible, for convenience?

Hey DK3! Check the characters I created. They're Crunch Bandicoot in "Crunchy, Crunchy" and Berri in "Conker's Girlfriend is alive". If you see 2 "Crunchy, Crunchy"s, choose the first one.

Yes, I checked them out, nice ideas but we strive for detail wherever its possible here. Try to give more information in your movesets.

Also, Logilly, please post character submissions in their own topics.

Lastly, for thought, this is actually the forums' first ever topic...

Yeah I believe the ideal amount of detail is about a paragraph.

Hey I have a question, would characters from unofficial games be accepted? Not fan characters, but characters from games not made by official companies, like the kid from "I want to be the guy" for example.

I asked about a character from Barkley Shut Up and Jam Gaiden and got a green light, and Quote from Cave Story is an accepted character, so I'd guess you can.

In theory, you can submit anything. Whether it gets put on site or not is at the discretion of the site's updater, which is now solely DK3, since Jonno and Zantok are now gone once more. You can create anything you want as a submission, but try to keep it in reason of what you see in a Smash Bros. game. (i.e. no Spongebob, no Power Rangers. That isn't to say you can't make them, but their chances of being in a real game are very slim.)

Also, DK3, if you see this, heed Lilfut's advice.

Alright, first off, no need to post four times in a row. Once is surely enough; check out the edit button. Pretty cool function of the forums.

Secondly, hey, hi, welcome to Mercurious. We eat souls. And complain about the canonicity of your movesets. Here, we are going to teach you what you are gonna do with this part of the forum. See all the shiny threads below this one? You know, the not stickied ones that have examples of movesets? Yeah, take a quick peek at those, and see what you're doing. Post your submissions as their own topics; these stickied threads are solely made for information sake. Honestly, they should be locked, as well.

And for a third bit, you need to include all of the submission form when you're posting. You don't get to pick and choose which works when you're making a submission; you need to fill every section of that form. And you're going to need to do a lot better than "Like in ssf2" for us to want to accept this.

Work on your stuff, then come back when you can finish the form.

Good luck to you.
