So I get started on my BENDER SW2 today. I get the 'pede tranny locked and bolted in, then start on the axles..... man, I didn't realize how wimpy the TLT axles were, these things aren't going to hold up! I have a set of axles that would definitely take anything I could throw at 'em. It's going to hard for me to resist...... smile.gif

TLT axles are stronger than you'd expect from their size, especially after you get the updated shafts in them. It is possible to break the stock ones but the ones from tower are the updated stronger ones. And you can wear out a ring and pinion during a "season" they are kinda expendable parts. Those TXT alxes look good under there but you'll lose vaulable clearence....yeah keep the TXT axles! icon_thefinger.gif

You don't become the SERCRC Points Champion in Super and Combined by running junk that could possibly break! icon_thefinger.gif laugh.gif icon_thefinger.gif

I'm going to give the TLT axles a chance.... started assembling them last night. wink.gif

Just go ahead and order the updated ones from tower, then they won't be a problem. You've all seen be beat the Bug and it loves it.

Ryan and Joey, do you run wideners on your TLT? If so, which ones? I'm a TLT newbie.... I'll probably have lots of questions for all of you guys! smile.gif

I use the tamiya black foot axles. They widen 1/2 an inch total.
