Made a few changes after the Lil Rock City maiden voyage yesterday.

I dropped the body down a little and adjusted the top link mounts on the front to get the caster angle right.

Gotta put lock-tite on the driveshaft yoke screws too! A loose driveshaft took me out of the finals.... that and my crappy driving! rcain.gif

I drove the first two courses really good. I thought Saturday might be my day to finally beat Gatekeeper.... then I choked on the finals course and threw down one of the worst scores.

I saw a few things with the truck that need to be adjusted, but overall it seems to work really good. I just need to drive it more, practice. I got this thing thrown together at 9:30 the night before the comp then went to bed, got up at 2:AM the next morning to drive to the comp..... ohmy.gif

I've been testing and tuning, and think I have this thing in shape to win a comp or two.... if the driver can hold it together!

Ended up with right at 3" of belly clearance.

Haha! Thanks!

The nearest hobby shop is over an hour away from me, so I make lots of parts myself.

Got softer springs installed.... the suspension is working a lot better now.

Also got all the wiring mess cleaned up after my late night building frenzy before the LRC comp.

It's getting dirty and scratched up. Starting to look like a rockcrawler!
