Tires are approx.

3 3/8" tall by 1 1/4" wide

Wheels are standard touring car rims (1.9" tall) with I believe a 2mm offset.

If you measurement is accurate the rally blocks will cost you about 3mm of ground clearance.

Stock=85.7 mm
Rally Blocks=79.4

Better Traction VS 3mm of ground clearance........hm-mm

LMFAO......just so i can "nip this one in the bud" I have both.....rally blocks and the stockers and the rallys only got put on for about 10 or 15 min. THEY SUCK. The only tire I know of that would give the stock tires compition is the 1/18 nylint tires and you have to cut the bead on one side to make them fit the TA02 stock rim. there the same but the nylint is a lil skinny compared side by side. ahhh hell, i'll find the link that way you guys can see........tires just scroll down, theres a pic of the 2 side by side. The big question is do you really want to buy a nylint just for the tires?

My opinion rcain.gif

1 Aftermarket tires and rims OK
2 Drivetrain upgrades OK
3 Motor upgrades OK
4 Bearings OK
5 Must run stock shocks
6 Suspension mods must be within the limits of the stock configuration.
7 Locked diffs are drivers choice
8 Electronics are drivers choice.

Lets start getting this nailed down. The trial run of this class will be at the Feb 18 comp at my place. We will be able to tell more afterwards but we need to get the basics down so there is no confusion.

I agree with all except this one. As long as there the same lenth I dont see a problem. I was under the impression that the rs4 rally would be in this class. I am running the shocks from my rs4 on my toyota. The only reason is cause they LOOK better. The rs4 its self sucks compared to the tao2 as far as offroading in my opinion. Thats why im just gonna leave it on the shelf for now.

What about wheel weights? I loaded the fronts with BB's to see what it would do... Oh yeah, Its like night and day BUT it will nose dive like mad when you jump tongue.gif but if its allowed, it needs to be brought up I guess. Like Aubie said, This stuff needs to get nailed down. Im sure things will come up, And stuff will be added. I read somewhere on Scale4x4 that someone made portals that would fit these trucks... eek8.gif
