Would anyone be interested in holding a Monster trucks Trials type event?
Similiar to this? http://www.rccrawler.com/forum/showthread.php?t=22545 but with many different man made obstacles. Have the run Timed and scored for Errors. Maybe have it as a Year End Event to cap off the 2006 points series? Or in the Summer Months? I know I dont have room to store obstacles , But would gladly help any way I can. from what I recall the Winter Monster Bash has been going for many years , as I have seen stuf posted on RCMT awhile back. I in no way am trying to get us going in a Different direction. I thought maybe we could add another event and have something that everyone can participate in. I do have one person in Mind that I think could handle this event , But I wont mention names ................ Yet Good Idea ? BAD Idea? This post has been edited by Rindaen on Jan 13 2006, 02:42 PM |

Yeah I was really checking that out too
I was mostly looking at it because of the 1.9 trucks, it would be a good way to vary the terrain. We also had alot of fun on Aubies wall....thing with the sandpaper that day. |

I reallly liked that one course they had one year that used the Crates and Bridges.
I will see if I still have that. I think something like that could be fun, Something different and can be challenging depending on how creative we get on the stuff we build. Multiple people building different challenges would be great! What I was thinking is maybe having the course pre-built would speed up the comp. We could have time to run many trucks and have a cookout or something. Just a thought , Not much action on this topic so not sure how far it will go just yet. |

Well I don't have a 1.9
I think everybody should build at least One obsticle for the event.(B.B-Q or whatever) We would just need to make sure everybody don't make the same type thing. ie; Sandpaper climbs, monkeybridges, downhill "Kiss your azz" turns, water hazards, parking blocks etc... -------------------- www.ricksrcracing.com
