Looks good to me, so far. I know we'll be able to make it to the first comp of the year at least.

Now that the '08 schedule is out Alisha and I can plan our Hawaii trip. Didn't want to miss any comps because of that.

so what about a comp in march? maybe on the 15th weekend either at the ocoee or in ATL?

Trying to nail down the Ocoee..........once that happens we will look at other possible dates

Kami already brought it to my attention. Since the event is at Joey's he has more to say about it than I do

Another thing to take into consideration is...

we are already short one event, so we are need use ECC or the last 07 Comp to see who goes to 08 Nationals

maybe we can get it moved up or back a week . Maybe Joey will see this soon and let everyone know if it can be moved .

I'm fine with having it June 28 or July 12.

As far as Nationals I think our spots are already accounted for; from the Top 5 Finishes at '07 Nationals.

The 28th was the old date that dosn't work for me

July 12 sucks for multiple reasons (see below) and secondly because then that will be 3 weeks in a row of Competitions.

07 Nationals results give you and Austin automatic bids.


The club gets 2x bids for 2 of the Top 5 drivers. If 1 or 2 can't go it gets passed to 3, then to 4 and stops at 5.

If you and Austin go to Nationals you cannot pass your "CLUB" bids.

As of today Austin is in 1st, and you are in 4th place. Austin couldn't pass his club bid, but the 2nd one would go to RockCrawler. If he passed it the goes to Rooster, if he passed it would go to you. You could not pass....unless you DID NOT go to Nationals at all.

Example
Last year Naz-T and SpecialEd were both automatic bids.

Naz-T finished 1st, Rory finished 2nd and SpecialEd in 7th.

Naz-T used his clubs 1st bid, and Rory used the 2nd.

SpecialEd didn't get a "Club bid" so he used his "Automatic bid"

Im fine as long as its not June 21-22. I have this date set for an RCA comp.
