If no one else can go......maybe Sven can go as our Super rep, and another ETRC driver (Raptorman & Torchedcycle both tied for 2nd at ETRC)

I will NOT be able to go this year. (Even IF i were lucky enough to get a shot)

Talked to the plant manager this morning. See, You have to be employed there for 2 years before you get 2 weeks vacation. I only get 1 week (5 days/40 hours) and I only have 1 day left.

I told him I'd take the time unpaid. No go.

See they promoted me to supervisor over the extender area June 1st and so I got this big speech about why they selected me, work ethic, attendance bla bla bla...

They think they actually NEED me there.. I thought I had it made.. Now I'm sick. :(

I'm up for driving, it Runt doesn't go Me, you, and Austin could ride together and split the fuel bill. The F-250 really only fits 3 for such a long trip. I already have a room booked.

I'll talk with every body and try to get some final plans made ASAP

Bring home the G O L D & Silver

Fuel is some where in the neighborhood of $600-700 round trip. (1700 miles divided by 15 mpg at $2.80 per gallon= $317...one way) Just say the fuel was $800 (got to drive for 3 days once we are there too) split 3 ways it's $267 per person. Once you split it 3 ways it's not that bad. Still cheaper than a plane ticket and rental car.

The room is $350 for 3 nights at a Days Inn with has 3 queen sized beds.

I still need to talk with Tripp to make sure he isn't going, since I had already made plans to go with him. IF Austin was willing to drive his truck it would probably be alittle cheaper on fuel. If CSR goes you and him might be able to take his Civic and I know it would get great mileage.

We'll make sure everyone get there!

There is NO shame in second place I'm sure you won't be disappointed finishing second behind me!

Okay for those that are going to nationals (jeff and austin).

Which truck do you want to take? My F250 or Austin's Taco?
My truck will haul alot more crap in the bed and I have a cover for when it rains but 4 people will be tight (for those in the rear seat). Austins truck will be more comfortable in the cab but we MIGHT be alittle tight on room in bed for 4 peoples crap and I don't know if he has a cover incase of rain.

I vote my truck even though it WILL be uncomfortable when ever your in the back seat.

It does not matter to me I will be happy either way SERCRC is going to kick ... thumbsup.gif

I don't care either way, we could take my mom's jeep cherokee, 28+ miles per gallon, very roomy for 3 people.

I may have to fly because Lyndi wants to go and that will be 5 people I think we need a mini van trips mom has one he could probably get it for us

Well........If you think me and Austin can drive well in 2.2 (you may not).

Let me start over last year I was second in 2.2 at SERC and Kenny was first. We both got our asses handed to us at Nationals in 2.2, same for CSR. Last year my truck was setup all wrong for the stuff we crawled on out there. I'll probably still get my ass handed to me in 2.2, but hopefully I'll do alittle better.


What I'm trying to say is if you want to go for it. Hell if your driving that far why not.

I am going to Nationals via Memphis, TN. I will be driving my 2 door Tundra and can give a ride to someone if anyone needs it.

I will likely leave Memphis on Tuesday afternoon/evening.

My ride back might be interupted by a couple hours of work in Rogers, Arkansa but I go through Memphis on the way to Charlotte, NC after that.

I also have a non-smoking room at the Holiday Inn Express in Moab, its a room with two queen beds, so I have a spot avail if someone wants it. ( I have the room from Thursday to Monday).

If you ride with me, just help me with gas. If you want to stay with me, just kick in $60 per night (includes breakfast).
