i want to start crawling but im stuck between a super class and a 2.2, a 2.2 seems easier with just one motor and a little cheaper to build, but seems limited as far as its abilities to articulate with a front and rear driveshaft, iv thought about going with the axial ax10, but i want to go with the tube frame, does anyone have any suggestions my2cents

Don't worry about the shaft driven rigs not articulating enough. THey can actually flex too much. Should like you want an AX-10 and get the Edge tube frame for TCS www.tcscrawlers.com It is an awesome combo. There are several build threads on RCC. Both classes are awesome. I built a super first and even though it was more capable it turned out more boring because most of the rocks near me aren't hard enough. crawling in my house was boring too.


There are a lot of 2.2 tubers available the edge is awesome. there seem to be 1000000 of them out there already. Any 2.2 tuber will work with Axial axles'

When i built my first few trucks i made them articulate at least 90 degrees and they sucked. You don't want them to do that.

well a 2.2 would be fine for me cause i dont think there are many people around here that crawl, a buddy of mine got me into racing nitros for a little while, turned out i have to heavy of a triger finger, and broke to much stuff, got to expensive, my buggy is been sitting broke for bout 5 months now
