The Ancient Ones

The Ancient Ones, according to historical text, were ordinary people like you and I, however they had the ability to create ancient civillizations and great technology. Records show that the largest ancient city, Greatport, had a population of 21,000. All of these people were researchers, as they developed such useful tools as Manar Drivers and Ascendation Chambers.

According to oral tale, they ate mostly diets consisting of grain and beans, as they thought cows and pigs sacred. They used cows and pigs as companions, especially for their usefulness for producing milk and smelling mushrooms.

They used machines of pure magic that even modern researchers can't reconstruct. One text states that a great cataclysm destroyed their technology, known as the Period of Despair. Even now, we struggle to recreate some of their technology.
