Darkend Dens The dens of the Moriade pack are housed in the caves formed from a fissure under the Earth that also resulted in the Carrook Mountains. The caves are rather easy to get into, for the entrance is large. At night bats fly from the caves in a great cloud of flapping bodies. These bats, at that time, make a great meal for the wolves, because of the density of their massive cloud makes them, vulnerable to attack. Within the caves stalagmites and stalactites pose a scary sight for young pups, but serve as only a hindrance for the adults. Inside the cave is very high and very wide, serving as a foyer and a place for pack meetings or simple socials. There are many little passages that lead to other caves inside the larger one, serving as dens for the wolves and the birthing of their pups. A large lake rests in the very center of the cave, providing water for those who reside within.

Lost Quarry Once a bustling quarry for the excavation of limestone, the Lost Quarry lies forgotten to those who don’t know how to find it. As of the fact that it is a pit, it is impossible to reach except by the recently discovered back entrance of the Darkened Dens. No prey resides in this area, because nothing can make its way in except wolves, and so the area is a perfect safe haven for the pups of the pack, though there is the imminent danger of falling rocks when the weather turns bad, not to mention the high humidity of the area coats the stone with a layer of water, making them slick.. Were a wolf to howl in the lands it would echo uncontrollably and might even un-lodge one of those sought-after limestone boulders. This is an adequate place for secret meeting between members, where two can talk without being disturbed. A pack meeting would not be held here unless the most concealment was wanted, but the wolves wouldn’t want to raise their voices.

Fell Bog A dangerous place, this Fell Bog, with its quicksand, poisonous snakes, and slurping mud. The standing water makes this place a great habitat for many species of prey, including waterfowl, snakes, rats, other small mammals, and even a few waterbucks. This wetland is filled with lush vegetation and water. Annoying insects buzz and bite at one’s ears when they enter, though with the ingestion of the right plant they can be avoided. In the winter months the water remains warm through a misplaced vent from the old human habitation in the middle of the lands.
