I had my performance exam for drama last week on wednesday, and have been fretting about it ever since. I know I screwed up significant points in the script and action, and I'm making myself nauseus wondering if the assessors knew/cared. Written exams start on friday, and I'm completely losing it at the moment. I feel like i'm completely unprepared, and I've wasted my study time. My mum has put so much pressure on me, and I just don't know how to cope with it at the moment. Also, I still haven't finished my bound notes for maths (Monday). Everytime I get a bit closer to being done on them, I feel great about it for half an hour, and Then I remember how little time there really is and I lose it again. I'm banking largely on my school pulling my results up lots, like it did last year, but I know that's not going to work quite so well this time because four out of my five subjects generally get scaled down anyway. I'm also having issue coping with my sister, because she is incapable (or unwilling) of seeing how her actions are affecting me. There's my stressed out rant . Don't worry, I'll be fine again in....about six weeks

*huge giant diving huggle* You'll be fine. If you get stressed about exams they become harder to do - they tend to be easier than you think they'll be, too. And besides, even if it did all go wrong, there will be opportunity to resit, right? Ask your mum to let off with the pressure - a little can be good, but too much is detrimental and it sounds like it's more than you can handle. Which subjects are they in/what are they about? Some are easily fluked (not that I've ever done it... *ahem*) As for the sister thing... Most sisters do that at some point is the most I can say, although it sounds a little more serious for you? I won't ask if you don't want to tell, but if you've got exams coming up, try not to focus on it. You can talk/argue/whatever after, but for now try doing some revision to take your mind off it; a little study is better than no study, right? If things do go a little wrong, it won't be the end of the world - it just means you can learn to do things a little differently next time if you end up feeling like this again

Thanks for your advice, Puddy. I think I maybe just needed some calm and common sense.
English didn't go too horribly yesterday - at least, I felt okay coming out of it, and I know that if nothing else, my essays were on topic. I also bound my notes this morning, and while they're a bit big, I'm fairly happy with them
Mum's eased off a bit too - she's focusing less on me now, and more on provide a 'helpful environment' - cue comfort food and less chores.
Also, on reflection, I don't need a top score to do what I want next year (woo for an arts degree!), so even if I do mess up a bit, and not do as well as what I'm hoping, I'll have options.
And, in an even worse scenario where I don't get into uni, I still have a year off in england before becomming a checkout chick. Not that I'm counting, but this time in two months I'll be waiting for my transfer flight in singapore!
