Jandek, are you ready for the house?

Anybody else here like Jandek? To paraphrase your buddy Kurt Cobain, Jandek isn't pretentious, but people who listen to his records are... and, assuming that's so, call me proud to be pretentious. I've got it all (at least, all that's been released so far), and, aside from the kinda distressing lack of differentiation among many of the later studio recordings, I'm pretty pleased... The more conventionally bluesy albums and the live suite The Cell, in particular, are just plain bitchin'. If nothing else, he looks like a cadaverous scarecrow, which I think we can all support.

I've heard a lot about Jandek. I think Mike from Belltonesuicide likes him a lot.
Never heard his stuff, though.
Perhaps I will someday.
