Good morning (or good night) Quainters~!
Today is a new month already in various countries~
And it's already midnight in Korea!
It's the starting of August! Time really flies doesn't it?
Feels like so many things to be done yet so little time~
Our boys are also back in Korea! :yay:

Here we'll tell you what's gonna happen and some updates.

First off, as you can all see hopefully~! We have a new layout! This beautiful layout is made by our lovely two Lil P moddies, Chrissy and Kaye! Well done girls :D

With a new layout and the new month of August, comes Hyungjoon's birthday! He's gonna be turning 22 in a few days :D So of course to celebrate his birthday, the Quainteam has decided to create a few events and contests in certain sections. Please join in the fun and celebrate with us together! These events will start and end at different times so please go to the sections where the events takes place to check for details later. :clap:

From the last month of July, there was a CD giveaway draw! Thank you to all those who participated, there were 32 participants in total! And the two winners are....IS2SATORU & seulhyuk;! Congrats to you both! Both of you will be PMed/contacted by Mindy or Linda for your addresses. :thumbs:

Just to remind everyone a bit, we are in the process of organizing a gift for the boys when they go to Malaysia! One part of this is the '501 reasons', we're still short of reasons so if you have time, please do go to the thread and help us out add some reasons why you love our boys!
If you haven't read the new updates, the boys' trip to Malaysia is delayed till some time in September but we will continue to work on the gift, so there's still time if you're interested in joining!

Just an update with our youtube account, I think some of you might have noticed, lately YT has been cracking down on many accounts and suspending them (many due to the vids being SBS). We will be taking special precaution to try to avoid the suspending of our account! But no need to worry, we will not be changing the options to becoming private vids, due to the inconvenience to some viewers! Hope you will all continue to support us.

Lastly, we are adding a few new Quaint'subbers to our team~! We will be having 2 new timers, Patience and Misha, along with 2 new translators, Aina and Kumi! Welcome to the team~! Please PM me (Irene) to update your status and just in case you're not interested or can't commit the time anymore, please let me know! Also, we will continue to be looking for more help~ More help is of course welcomed, so if you're interested in helping us sub, please PM me :D

1) YEAH FOR OUR BOYS BEING BACK IN KOREA~ I need to find links to Make The Holiday. I thought they would be on Hey Hey Hey as guests this time around in Japan since they made it to the top ten on the Oricon charts. But, I guess not? o___o; Anyway. Cannot wait until they promote Find. I hope DSP will promote their groups better~~~!

2) Chrissy and Kaye, lovely layout. I really do like the design of it. And the colors. It matches really well. I'm thinking about using the same colors for my LJ layout later. :D Hahah. You guys blend it really well. I just love the textures, and the pictures of Baby. :)

3) I'll do my best to join the events. Thank goodness I'm done with summer class. :D

5) Haha. I can't think of any reasons because I don't really want to repeat that list. I think pretty much everyone covered it. :)

6) If SBS is the only one who is cracking those down, why not just urm... put those in private instead? Or you guys could try www.crunchyroll.com ~ I'm not sure if they are cracking down there. Hopefully, by changing the file name... they won't close your account~~ TT___TT You guys work so hard to sub the videos, upload them and I really hate it when it goes to waste.

7) Yeah! :) More subbed videos~ Haha. I wish I could do one of the translating videos. But, I don't know Korean or Japanese. TT___TT sadly.

^ Let me see if I can help you understand a bit.
It is a bit confusing.
According to Korean’s Lunar calendar, you subtract one year. That's how they keep track of how old some one is in Korean age.
But in the States, they keep it the actual year a person was born.
Hope that helps a bit.

Anyways, the new lay out is very nice. ^^ It is very colorful.
I hope more events will come for Hyung Joon's birthday month. It will be fun. ^^
