Quainte was originally found by Sarah and Sara. But since they have left, we have a new definition for Quainte. The definition in the dictionary is "cleverly made; artful". So Quainte is cleverly made, also in an artful way.

++ Is there an easier web address for Quainte?

Yes, you can simply type in “Quainte501.com” and you will find this forum. Also, if you find yourself forgetting anytime, simply look Quainte up in search engines, and you will find us also.

++ Are there any general rules here?

Quainte is a very relaxing and friendly environment. Besides the basic rules of respect, such as no bashing, we also discourage double-posting and leeching. Extensive general rules can be found in The Road to SS501's Paradise and each section’s respective rule threads that are pinned. We encourage everyone to read through them. Most importantly, we stress reading the rules in Sparklings.

++ Is there a rule for signature sizes?

Generally, we are pretty lax about signature sizes. But please do keep your signatures to a maximum size limit of 250 pixels in height and 500 pixels in width.


++ Is there a requirement to be able to download in the Sparklings section?

It depends. Half of the time, the direct download links are posted for your enjoyment. Other times, we may carry out our PM system. More information can be found here.

++ Why aren’t we allowed to post or share SS501 mp3s or DVDs?

We want to take out the option of downloading such things from our forum, because we want to push members to not download online, but support SS501’s hard work and buy their products.

++ Which videos have been subbed into English? (soft subs or hard subs)

++ Why aren’t more videos subbed into English?

We are currently in the test-trial phase of a possible subbing team here at Quainte. Subbing videos requires the collaboration of numerous and dedicated individuals. We have a limited amount of people here at Quainte who are able to translate the videos in English, and this is what’s mostly preventing videos from being subbed.


++ What am I allowed to post and not allowed to post?

(1) No bashing. (2) You may post new materials and re-post old materials of SS501. (3) With the exception of Scintillates, you are allowed to post thread of SS501 and other Korean artists in each of the sections. Keep in mind that this is a SS501-dedicated forum, so please keep your posts of other artists to a limit.

++ Why do we need to add credits to all the posts? Furthermore, why must we also credit Quainte?

Credits are necessary to (sorry to sound redundant) give credits to the efforts of original source. In addition, this will allow those interested to track where the information is from. Members are also required to credit Quainte because we want to keep track of our posts in case others take things out of the forum.

++ Am I allowed to take things out of the forum?

1) Unless it is otherwise noted, direct download links and links to pictures are NOT to be taken out of Quainte. 2) You may take anything else out once you PM the person who posted the thread and receive permission.
3) Please see specific rules regarding Scintillates here.

++ How can I help out?

Quainte is always accepting to more help. You may help out as you see fit – help advertise Quainte or post new videos or pictures. You can also PM anyone on the Quainteam and we will guide you in the right direction.

just an explaination,
it's a fansclub for wang lee hom in indonesia region...
once in a while, we made a compilation of photos, and video, and we send it to him.
i was thinking, is there anyway (since some of you able to open the official site for ss501) that we could send videos to them??? like we on the banner? or embed message in the site?
i think it's a good way to get us noticed.
some of the compliations includes, letters, vdos, photos, and we add them together.

we actually did something like that called youngsaeng project~
when Saeng wasn't that well, we got together to do that~
but not a lot of ppl were actually active and willing to take part...
we did a banner/msg thing on DSP a few times thanx to Ana already~ and we did for Goodbye SS501 too...

What I was thinking is, what if we moved the spazz threads into like a subforum?
Or at least lock their positions in Mumblings so they won't get moved around by other threads.
I love the spazz threads, don't get me wrong I just think maybe that'd be more organized?

Why not put all the SS501 related mumbling threads in the subforum then?
Like talking about first story dvd, music, etc.
We can just make new ones for people to chat around about and such.
That was what one quainter suggested, I forgot where her post was.
But props to her for this suggestion if it works out. ^^;
Then the real mumblings section can have other things besides SS501 related, could be fun topics/polls like we have now.

ooo we don't really have a rule about having a certain # of posts for that~ usually we have contests during birthdays or events and we like give that away as a prize to ppl who join certain contests (consoliation prize).

Suggestion:

Since we closed the Sparklings and CB to upgraded members. I was wondering if you guys could uh announce it on a thread somewhere-- of what you had uploaded on CB--so uh, me for example, could go and download it from the CB.

^ dreamagain, sometimes its not just winning them, we have some events where you just participate and you can get it changed so don't worry. :)

About your suggestion, the Quainteam has actually talked it over before about Caliber. We thought it might be better to keep them in mumblings since Caliber isn't a very active section and it's only seasonal. So overall, we don't wanna move these 2 sections out of mumblings because we don't really want to have 2 more sections in olive, it seems too crowded and a bit much, don't you think?
So for the time being, these two sub sections will not be moved out.

Question:

Where are the CB files? I know quainte's CB turn Silver now
but... Does it mean that files are deleted?.. I saw only two files left.
If there're only two, can we still DL them and quainte's CB turn
gold again? ...Well, I doubt it.. Don't want quainte to close T____________T

once the box turns silver, each file will only stay on for a certain amount of days, i believe the only 2 files left is gonna like stay on for only like 7 more days? but the thing is, the other files weren't active enough so everything got deleted itself. As for getting gold, u can stay of course download these two files, the points/amount downloaded still counts~ but it doesn't go towards out gold getting? XDD
we'll have more info for everyone when the time comes around again~ so don't worry~ we won't close down XDD

Just a suggestion...
i have been reading the multimedia library..
i realised that it great to have the list of eng subbed videos you guys have...
how about creating another video list to note down the videos (any video that has been uploaded) and names of the uploaders that were actually uploaded before...
Just to make those video requester life more easier~ yup~ :nod:
the names of the uploader will help in the way that, if the uploader uploads that particular video that the requester wants, they can directly pm that person to ask for video... ^^

Ive been thinking about this from times that I visit Quainte. It sure is an absolute pain in the butt, not being able to edit topic titles or descriptions. Is there anyway that power can be given to quainters? Itd make life sooooooooooooooooooooooooooo x876567 easier to make updates and let everyone know when theres an update to a thread, especially if you like merging threads of similar content (such as the Music Core thread for comeback ^^) ~~~~

Then wouldn't there be no point for Moddies? XD
That's what moddies do~ Merging is what moddies do too~ If all Quainters had that power, it might be very disasterous~
About editing...mmm...usually if u want, moddies will edit just~ Just PM them ^_^
