Just to start you off folks.....
A Rose A tear falls, a rose shall grow It blooms for all the world to show. Its cherished like a precious jewel, Never knowing how life can be so cruel. Aroma like nectar, exotic sweet, For all our lives we wish to keep. But like life, withers this bloom, It comes and goes all too soon. The petals fall like falling leaves For its passing the heart grieves Thorns left to show another side Of the rose, and its pride… Alan J Morgan © 28th August 2004 |

Sorry for delay Alan hope you like this one. Be Lucky. Brian.
A ROSE A rose, by any other name, would smell as sweet. It has been said - a statement hard to beat. But when I gaze upon this glorious bloom, I know, that honestly there’s room, to call it, by a many different name, Mary, June or Sally and many others, all the same. This picture indicates to those who know and recognize, The Perfect English Rose, which in “Dan Cupid’s” garden grew, and pleased the eye – of me and you. © Brian J Muchmore. 3/8/06. |

Soak up the summer sun
It's red, you know, red and sits in a crystal vase on the window sill. It looks out to where siblings bounce on long stems in the garden, midday sun casting black blooms to the ground. It will fall petal by petal to the white paint below and the sisters will nodd as if they knew. |

Well, here it is... :beaming
A Rose… she’s blushing in my daddy’s garden ruby red and opened wide… this luscious Lady ripe and blooming in her unique lovely pride… he’s standing by her smiling gently like the little boy he’s been… and together they look sweeter than each pair my eyes have seen… Najade © Drs. Rikki Keller Friday, 01 September 2006 (September 4th was dad's birthday) :kiss |
