Waiting needs much patience
Keep occupied I say
The date of your arrival
Was Thursday 10th May.

We watch with facination
As you wriggle deep inside
Wondering how much longer
Only nature will decide.

Will you have your Daddies eyes
Or Mummy's skin so fair
We long to greet you in our world
And see what colour hair!

Waiting needs much patience
But you will bring such joy
Anticipation heightens
Will you be a girl or boy!

Jack Mitchell Dixon White arrived on 22nd May 2007 - he is a delight - he looks just like his daddy with a huge dark eyes and dark hair.......So I am Nanna Bez now!

Dear nana Bez and Great Auntie Gill,

Life's most beautiful miracle has happened in your family and I am congratulating you, the happy parents and the rest of you fine people with the birth of little Jack.
Bez, what a sweet poem you have written about this beloved baby boy!
Thank you for sharing it with us, dear.
It makes me think back to the months when the twins of my stepson were being expected. During his wife's pregnancy I have written a poetry book about this very special period and right after the littlies were born we have given it to them and their proud mum and dad.
By now they are two and a half years young. Time does fly...

Bless you all, my dear dear friends!

Hello Gill,
Thank you for taking time to read this little poem that I wrote while waiting for Jack to arrive - of course at that time we did not know whether it would be a boy or a girl. He is such a delight but then of course I am biased!! I really should write something about the day he arrived and feel sure I will in days to come when life here is more settled. Wow what a day that was, it is hard to remember with all the other things that have happened since!! We spent some time with them today celebrating Fathers Day so had another cuddle.......Much love Bezxxxxx :bighug :bighug

Hello Rikki,
So many thanks for your message about my poem written while waiting for my first grandchild to arrive. Yes it is a miracle and I will never forget his arrival as I was there at the birth - James my son in law wanted me on hand for him as much as anything and I was happy to be there. It was the most memorable time and I had my first cuddle with him when he was about 15 minutes old!
He is one special little chap I can tell you.
I hope to write more about it all when I get the chance and also to begin a scap book for him for when he is older.
Hope you are yours are well. Will email you a photo of Jack so you can see how adorable he is!!
Much love dear Rikki
