Well, here is a beta version of my comic...
I might need a better camera if I'm gonna make this thing work, but heres what I ended up with.

Oh, the comic is in the tune of FF6 and is Reddy style humor based.

I gotta say, the cut and paste idea looks pretty interesting. Kinda like paper mario in some senses.

And the humor is...well..I didn't get it, but I'm sure it will be pretty awesome to have FF characters battle your cat.

In that sense, the comic has some distinct visual appeal even though I do not like the storyline. I think you could do a lot on that kind of medium.

That being said, there are some immediate improvements you must make before I can get you a glowing star of "keep working until you get better."

First, the very obvious overlaying of the paper displays extremely poor quality. I can see kind of how it would work out like that, but I would really recommend using only one sheet of paper for your background.

That being said, there are some inherent problems in the presentation, the first being that your inkjet printer needs a realignment before you print your next background. The next would be that, even though the characters show up clear and crisp against the background, the scanner you were using has some focus problems when recognizing solid objects.

Finally, the comic itself is 700 x 1300 and needs to cut out some of the dead areas (I.E.) your comic should focus on the characters, not the large area around them.

Good luck on that.
