Nope, Bethlehem. West Bank. Jesus would be Palestinian today, but during his time Bethlehem was in Judean territory. Speaking of his time, this is a moot point since Jesus has been dead for almost 2000 years. We may as well be arguing the merits of electing Alexander the Great, who was also not born in America. --------------------

Seriously though. Jesus was not a Christian, and I'm pretty sure he wouldn't be pro-war. So he wasn't really a conservative. But then again, he was anti-business in the fact that he chased all those people out of the temple. I'm pretty sure he was also anti-Italian to some extent. I think he might have been for universal medicine, but that's just because it was so cheap for him. Maybe pro-environment too. I dunno, I just have trouble picturing what the Jesus/Holy Spirit ticket would look like. |

I think it's notable that the democratic nomination has come down to the super delegates, meaning that one of them, Baraka, or Hell-o-Ree will probably be chosen really soon. Obama's currently leading, and needs only 44% of the remaining delegates to win, so it's looking as if he's going to win soon, if Hillary can't come out ahead soon, which is looking to be less likely as time passes.
