I just said it wasn't very hero like. I can easily see how that could have come across.

Anyone who does something good without evil intention is a hero in some regard.

The topic title looked interesting, so I decided to check out this topic.

But, am I not understanding this question? It just seems paradoxical to me. Who saves a hero? Anyone. A hero is only a hero to the one (s)he saves...It's not like, "oh you saved someone...that makes you different from the rest of us." I mean, at the risk of being cliche, everyone is probably a hero or have the potential to be a hero in some respect. The amplitude of the so-called "heroic" task may vary, but simply acting unnaturally courageous in a time of need is enough to satisfy a dictionary's definition of hero. From a biological standpoint, it's just the increase of physiological arousal for the fight-or-flight effect. Excessive secretion of hormones from the adrenal glands I believe; makes the mind unnaturally pumped to do something out of the norm. That's where the "I didn't even know I had it in me" kinds of situations come from.

So...um...I don't even know what to say anymore because the question confuses me, heh. Being a hero to someone doesn't mean you can't be saved by someone else O_o (by the way I didn't read all the other replies so perhaps I'm missing something big in this discussion)
