 "Greetings. I am Adroit Praetorian Pagoda Assistance and Proliferation Unit (APPAPU). My purpose is to watch over the success of the Restore Pagoda Project. Your presence in RePP is vital. My first duty with immigrants is to create their own PEC (Personal Entertainment Component). To create PEC, we require input from You. After you have given us the description of your PEC, it will be sent into the artificial world in which the REPP first takes place. Any vital details concerning the PEC that we do not receive will be randomized. Once Your Pec has been sent into the artificial world, you are free to control them. As the de facto grand monarch of the Pagoda, my PEC should be a grand palace and casino to match my grand ego. It shall be of lordly proportions and appointments, with marble floors, golden columns, a free buffet, and a wide assortment of the most beautiful hookers imaginable.

I assumed PEC meant character.

I assumed we were building a world, and each PEC was a chunk we added to this new growing world.
Maybe for a character it would be clearer to call it a Personal Entertainment Avatar or something similar -------------------- |

Personal Entertainment Avatar? Sure, you can be a PEA if you want.
