Just wondering if anyone believes or has had any personal experience with hauntings.

Anyone?

There was a girl who committed suicide in the basement under the theatre a little over 10 years ago who haunts the general costume/prop room area. She's friendly, but she likes attention. If you ignore her, stuff tends to fall a lot.

We just say hi to her every once and a while and get on with our work. She's shy with a lot of people around, but I've had that nagging "I know someone's there, but can't see them" feeling when I'm down there alone or with only a couple other people.

I don't now if people are like this in other places, but it seems like people here always brag that the local cemetery or really old house is haunted by a malevolent spirit.

For example, at a cemetery near me, there are tons of claims. Apart from the usual floating orbs, there's also supposedly a little girl around six years old who stares at you. She also apparently closes the gates of the cemetery sometimes when you try to leave.

There have also been stories including a middle aged, malevolent woman, and a elderly benevolent man.

I've also heard of fire starting randomly(including a fire at a dance hall nearby in the 1920's that killed a lot of people) along with rumors that demon worshipers gather there.

Finally, and perhaps most interestingly, I've heard that there are three tunnels under the old owner's house or something. Two I've heard have exits, but there's a story that says that the third leads to the gates of hell.

My old bed was haunted by a ghost with the initials PJ. I was told that the man who had died in the bed was kinda gay or hated women. I had no problem sleeping in that bed, though every so often in the middle of the night I'd feel the covers on the lower right side of the bed depress as if someone was sitting there. Watching me. It gave me the heebie jeebies at night.

My mother never slept in that bed.
I was told by my father that one time she had she woke up and it was as if something was trying to choke her and hold her down.

Oddly enough I took that bed with me to Reno when I left Chicago but did not take the original frame as it had broken. I also removed the headboard and didn't seem to have any problems with heebie jeebies after that. (Mostly because at that point there wasn't much of the bed left).
I still have that headboard though. I want to throw it out but I don't live there anymore.

Though whenever I go to my old house in Reno I feel like something is watching me. It's gotten to the point where I expect to feel unsafe anytime I go home.

I agree with Raveduck, his house has the Creeps; as for ghost, I have never seen one but "real" haunted houses give me the willies.

But if you have a Problem with the Paranormal, Who do you Call?

Cool. We should check that out on our ghost hunt.

I've a fairly decent amount of experience with Shadow People, which may or may not be ghost related. Creepy motherfuckers, but they seem to be mostly harmless.

Shadow people? Who are those and are they after me Lukki charms?

Heh, that wiki article sent shivers through my spine. And now that we're on that topic, here's an article about Shades of Death (road). I like the name. I really do. :3

No personal ghost stories to tell, I'm afraid. Well, when I was little and we were visiting my grandparents, I went upstairs alone. It was scary. There was that little christmas decoration placed on a doorknob. When I was in the room, it fell all by itself. I got scared and run back downstairs where everyone was. That room later became my room and the place of fear shifted from upstairs to cellar.

I've never experienced anything remotely convincing enough to make me believe in ghosts, but then again, I am a very skeptical person when it comes to anything supernatural and/or spiritual. I'd need to see something like a free-roaming, vaporous, full-torso apparition of my dead grandmother to believe ghosts are anything more than tricks of light and old floorboards creaking. Even then I'd look for the strings.

Rest assured, the world would be a much nicer place if you had never existed in the first place, and that you deserve to have your hands removed then thrown into fire in order to prevent any of the future abortions you call "comics."
