A a concerned member of the forum I've been noticing more arguments breaking out. I'm guilty of picking a few with Rehsba and Derek in the past few weeks. I think if people got a beef with eachother they should PM eachother. Keep it off the boards. I made a comment that Rehsba nad Derek should make a topic for them selves to argue on. I was half joking half serious so I guess it's individual responsibility that needs to be addressed here. I don't think it should be an argument thread so much as a peer mediation or something, maybe.

I'm getting sick of this.

I agree. The fighting is something we can pass by. We don't need that kind of filth in the Pagoda. The Nerd King Thread, the complain why you should be admin thread, it may seem like you have other reasons, but in the end, you just wanted to pick a fight with each other.

Ill put down a post, and someone would get mad at me calling me an "ass" which always seems to happen. go around the pagoda and look. seriously. youll se many examples of me getting called an ass. like. everywhere. I usually just wait for someone else to tell them theyre wrong. seriously, you can go around and find that too.

I've seen what you're talking about. However, in quite a few cases, you mouthed off to them when it wasn't really your place to. While you may have been joking, they took it seriously which got them mad at you.

So don't try to dodge all the blame. I'm not saying you're the cause, but you had your part.

nah, I told a joke to my cousin about a priest and a rabi, so we laughed our asses of during mass, we started a contraversy so I said "ban us from church!" Because i think church is boring.

why don't you just have a debate topic? It isn't really arguing. just post some rules that say no flaming.

Debating IS a formalized style of arguing. Still, the nerd king and complain to be an admin topics COULD have been like a debate, but instead it reared off and became insulting fighting. I think that has shown us what would happen if a debate topic broke out.
