Faceless is based on a unique version of the Action Role Playing Game, coined as Fencing, inspired by The Secret of Mana's system. Unlike normal Action Role Playing Games, Faceless is going to have an emphasis on realism. Damage will be true to life, and the character will be fighting to survive more than hacking-and-slashing through hundreds of monsters while taking hundreds of bullets and remaining unaffected. The game revolves around a character named Anphus, and the Faceless, an epidemic of dark creatures that are spreading.

The game will have 3D models built that will be conformed to a 2D realm - much like Donkey Kong Country.

Members are not expected to purchase Game Maker themselves. J.R. Creative Studios will cover this expense, and many others if they qualify.

The game will have 3D models built that will be conformed to a 2D realm - much like Donkey Kong Country.

The game will have three different modes: a single player mode, co-op for single player mode, and a completely separate story developed for a separate co-op mode. The game will be produced by J.R. Creative Studios with Game Maker. Team members will receive royalties for their work from the project.

This is a commercial game, meaning that it will be published and sold.

An excerpt from the prologue of the game:

On Anphus' way home from the farmlands, he and his father are attacked by a creature (A Faceless) that ends up killing his father. Before the creature can get Anphus, a mysterious gentlemen comes out of nowhere - commands the creature to leave... and it does - taking Anphus' father's corpse with it. The gentlemen comes up to Anphus and explains that the creature was sent by the king, along with all the others of its' kind.

He continues and explains that his father still has a chance. He tells Anphus that the King who sent them is protected by a ward, which depends on the King's three Lords to protect him. If the Lords die, the ward breaks and Anphus can get into the castle to save his father. The old man tells Anphus to go home and sleep, and tells him he will meet him in the morning for his decision. The old man seems to disappear, and Anphus goes home.

Because of the dangerous creatures the King employs to keep his people in order, Anphus' town is all contained within a large fortress. When Anphus enters, he finds that the night watch is gone. Upon further exploration, he finds that the fortress has been entirely abandoned.

* Payment will begin when the project begins selling. Payment is based on the following equation: (Total contributed hours from member/Total hours contributed by all members) x (75% of the total profit per sale). Members who contributions amount to less than a penny of revenue per sale will be ensured at least a penny for at least 6 months of membership.

Excerpts from J.R. Creative Studios legal documentation:

Article XXXIII. Reimbursement for business expenses
Section 1.01 J.R. Creative Studios will reimburse qualifying business expenses to its’ members.
(a) In order to qualify for reimbursement, the claim will be reviewed. If the amount being applied for is less than $100, a member appointed by the administration can review and approve the claim. If the amount is more than $100 but less than $500, the claim must be approved by a unanimous vote from two members appointed by the administration who review the claim. If the amount is greater than $500, the administration will review the claim.
(i) Description of a qualifying expense:
1) The expense is necessary to the applicant and to J.R. Creative Studios (directly or indirectly).
2) Has purpose or use that is intended to be at least 75% for J.R. Creative Studios during its’ usefulness and employment in the team.
3) If more than $500, the expense is not more than 5% of the funds available – or its’ payments is not more than 5% of the funds available.
4) Expenses which are directly caused by a mandate established by J.R. Creative Studios automatically qualify. The mandate must directly require a purchase to qualify.
(ii) Payment
1) A payment plan will be setup. Expenses under $500 must be paid within a year of approval.
2) Expenses over $500 have a maximum payment plan of 1 year + (.5 days per dollar in excess of $500). So, if there is $895 expense, the maximum payment plan allotted would be a Year and 190 days.
(iii) Partial reimbursement
1) If an expense does not qualify for full reimbursement, the committee assigned to review the claim can still approve the claim, but only for partial reimbursement.
2) To qualify for partial reimbursement, the purpose or use of the expense must be at least 5% for J.R. Creative Studios. The expense must be necessary.
3) Partial reimbursement cannot exceed 90% of the total cost of the expense. Generally speaking, the percent that the purchased item will be used for J.R. Creative Studios will define the percent of the expense that J.R. Creative Studios will pay.

14. J.R. Creative Studios will not abandon a project unless the certain conditions apply. A project can only be cancelled with approval from executive committee.
a. The following conditions must apply to cancel a project:
i. The costs for continuing the project will send J.R. Creative Studios into bankruptcy
ii. There are not enough members to continue the project and getting the members required to continue would cause J.R. Creative Studios to enter bankruptcy.
iii. Legal intervention requires J.R. Creative Studios to cancel the project
b. If a project is cancelled, members under a committed contract with full benefits and members under non-committed with partial benefits qualify for compensation for work done. $7.00 per contributed hour in U.S. Dollars. Exchange rates do not qualify. Taxes will be withheld if applicable.
i. The payment of compensation will be over a period of up to two years from the project cancellation. The decision for compensation will be made by executive committee.
ii. Members have the option of transferring their all or some of their compensation to another project that is not yet complete that they have a significant amount of contribution in already. To be fair to members who have already contributed to the project, the hours will be worth half as much.

15. If a project is completed and is put up for sale but does not generate more than $100 in total revenue in the first six months of sales, members under a committed contract with full benefits and members under non-committed with partial benefits qualify for compensation for work done. $1.00 per contributed hour in U.S. Dollars. Exchange rates do not qualify. Taxes will be withheld if applicable.
