Fresh Start, Its needed

Seriously. Right now all we have is old topics, spambots, and very little going on. I say, fresh start, with a new forum altogether. Sure, its been good here, but its just not working.

Yeah. I'll try cleaning up stuff, I banned the spammers and deleted their topics.

I don't think it's entirely necessary but I guess I'd join a new one.

In the mean time though - now that there's an admin wandering around would you please move this thread to the lineart section?

yea i think a new forums would be best. I mean we can always just put the old tutorials on the new forums.

Not that I'm a Veteran of this forum or anything, but how would making a new forum improve things?

Spambots:Ban their IP and delete the topics. Simple as that.

Inactivity:How will making people register again at a new forum make them more active?

Old Topics: What's wrong with old topics? They're just topics that are...old...

How will another forum be any different?

i gotta say im with LeaF on this one, if anything, a new forum will encourage people NOT to join, when i see a forum with like 20 places to choose from, 10 members, and 6 topics i dont want to join. If anything, i suggest we get rid of some of the subforums, such as the suggestions (these can be made through gm) and the sketches, and game making (these can be posted in chat) if we really just concentrate on PIXEL art, and then just have our other side projects in chat, then it would be a lot easier to surf through the forum and find what you are looking for in it.

Or we can, like what happened in Pixel Class, assign homework...like,

Yeah, I think consolidating some of the sub-forums would definitely be a good idea.

Hello fellow pixelers. I'm surprised anyone still comes here...I take pride in your persistence. I was wondering...maybe we COULD start a new forum...however take a new angle at it. What if we created a team of graphics artists willing to do free work? We'd be a hit at the gmc and it would attract many people. We could also create tutorials for those that want to learn. We would, of course, have to renew our old tutorials, but I think we could be pretty big. We could also include many of the old ideas such as pixel competitions...I might even throw in some cash prizes . Anyone interested?

Maybe..... I will need some more information.
