Giving it away? (huh)
Although it is good of you to ask I think you have misinterpreted the purpose of this forum. People post their pieces up for critique so that they may improve their skills. I would recommend if you wish to ascertain pixel art for your games you PM the person in question as to whether you can or can't use a piece. Typically people wont post a piece with the intention of others using it (they should be aware of the possibility of theft however). The other alternatives are to request it in the thread we have set up. Or make some yourself and get critique from us and others to improve your skills so you can make it quicker and to a high standard. This particular forum is pretty laid back, we don't mind the occasional person saying great piece etc. without offering insight of how to improve it but ideally you should offer praise with some wisdom. Oh and it is always nice to see new members so welcome to pixel.

I will try and edit in some critique a bit later. :)

I hope this is a little helpful.
Higher contrast/apply some depth. The light source from the top does this, you can just see it on the barrel and metal parts in your piece, but not on the wood. The colours should get a bit of saturation and hue shifts in them. A bit of texture would be nice also, you can use dithering for this as it is a small piece, I normally don't like using dithering as a texture but here is an example. I am aware mine isn't looking particularly realistic but I feel it shows some of the aspects missed... Also I'm sure everyone is getting bored of my extreme metal shininess texture

Nice one.

The piece is good too, but the wood needs more contrast.
