With her father's sword secured to her side, Amalia made her way once again to the Blacksmiths Workshop to begin day one of lessons. She was thrilled beyond expression. She tied her usually lose and flowing hair back with a black ribbon and stepped in to find Alexis

Alexis was asleep over some sketchs on his work table. He had been up early after a late night, and it had caught up with him.

Amalia stopped when she saw Alexis sleeping, a wide smile playing on her lips. Poor bloke she thought. She looked at him for a moment, and not wanting to disturb him, grabbed a piece of parchment and began to scribble a note. When finished, she placed the note on the work table near his head.

Amalia laughed. "Alexis, you should relax at times. All work and no play? Its hardly the life for anyone. Go out, do things, meet people. Enjoy the things you love." She gestured to the many exquiste swords. "Beside make these lovely creations. I know your work can be demanding, but once in a while, you should say, to the devil, and go out and have some fun."
