Skipping class

[Shea Dhayne]

Sept. 2 1978

With a loud crack the two appeared infront of Honeydukes candy shop. Since it was her first time traveling like that Shea felt a little sick to the stomach. Smelling candy made her feel worse but after a few minutes she felt find.

Smiling Shea walked over to the door and opened it allowing herself and James enterance. "Well, come on now James I'm hungry," she stated smiling. Waiting for him to walk through the door Shea started tapping her foot.

[James Potter]

James followed her in and placed his arm around her and started to dance in the building. People where stairing but he liked it that way. "Haveing fun" James said with a luagh. "We should do this more often." He looked at her and realized something he ahd never realized before, She had the most beautiful eyes.

Walking over behind a shelf James took two chocolate frogs and a think of Pumpkin passies. "So Shea what can I get for you?"

[Shea Dhayne]

Shea just stood there motuh agap when he left. She knew she shouldn't be suprised he was always doing something to get attention but this time it was different. Shaking her head she tried to clear her mind. "Gummy wands and sugar quills please," she replyed nicely.

Walking around Shea looked at all the different candies. So many to choose from. A kid could get seriously fat in this store. Everything smelled so good it almost made her mouth water. "I deffiently think we shouldn't do that again," Shea retorted. Her bodly was still tingling and she knew next time would kill her.

[James Potter]

James looked at her and got her candy. Placeing it on the counter along with the money he said, " What you don't like danceing?" He picked up the candy and walked over to her. "Come on Shea lossen up and have a little fun." He smiled at her and handed her the candy as he picked her up and said, "Where too?"

[Shea Dhayne]

"It's not that I don't like dancing it's just..." she started before trailing off. Sucking on the ned of a suger quill she didn't want to tell him the truth. Rejection asways hurt and she didn't want things to become awkard between the two of them. "Nevermind," she finished.

Since her back was to him while he was paying Shea didn't even know he was behind her until her feet left the ground. Determined not to let things get awkard Shea laughed and squealed, "James put me down. This isn't needed." Smiling she replyed, "Well you can put me back on the ground for starters. then we can go some where else."

[James Potter]

James smiled at Shea and replied, "I think I prefer carring you. Besides it is more fun for me." Takeing her closer to him he carried her out the door into the cool streets. "So again I ask where to?" He noticed that she was shivering a bit, so he set her down and gave his wand a little wave and a scarlet red scarf appeared around her neck. "Is that better?" He asked.

[Shea Dhayne]

Shea laughed at his remark turning slightly pink, "I'm so glad you're having fun then hun. I do believe you're giving people the wrong impression though." As the cool wind hit her she shivered slightly and replyed, "How about the Three Broomsticks. We can get some warm Butterbeer." Fake pouting Shea added, "What I really need is a Quidditch shop so I can get new riding gloves but there's none here."

Turning even more pink when the scarf appeared Shea studdered, "Th-thanks James, I really appericate it." Unknown to her Shea snuggled a little closer to James for body heat. If she would have known what she did she would have died.

[James Potter]

Noticeing that she got closer James placed his arms around her to keep her warm, "I don't care what people think. You should know that." He then began to walk with her to the Three Broom Sticks.

[Shea Dhayne]

"Yeah I know that but still," Shea replied not noticing his arms. Swing her feet Shea smilied walking people walk by bundled up against the cold. It wasn't fair that the Hogwarts uniforms for girls were skirts.

Seeing the Three Broomsticks getting closer Shea was all excited for the heat.

[James Potter]

The two entered the shop and sat at a table. With a wave of his hand a women came over to get their order. "One Butter beer for her and a fire whiskey for me." James exclaimed. then he looked over at Shea. He really liked her but he did not know what to do. Normally he was confident around girls but this time it was diffrent.

[Shea Dhayne]

Shea shook her head at his order but wasn't suprised. Excepting her warm Butterbeer when the waitress came back Shea held it warming her hands. Smiling she was happy to be back. Normally she hated school but loved being around her friends. "Ya know I'm not sure what I would do without the two of you. I think I' be depressed all the time, guess I'm just lucky we're friends."

[James Potter]

James smiled and replied, "I am glad we are frinds too." He then took a drink from his fire whiskey and stood up. He noticed the look on Shea's face and then he waved his wand and music began to play. He took hold ogf her hand and he began to dance with her. He was always playing around in this manner.

[Shea Dhayne]

Shea started laughing as she danced with him. He was always acting like a goof ball in some sort of manner. "Sometimes you make me wonder how old you are," she told him still laughing.

It was always good to have friends like this. Living away from home in a big school could sometimes be intimadating but witrh friends like this Shea was fne. "Did you know Sirius is going on a date soon?" she asked him. "He asked my best friend out recently."

[James Potter]

"Sirius asked a girl out? Well that is new normally he tries to make them ask him out." James said with a luagh. he then twirled her under his arm and back again. "You are a lovely dancer." James exclaimed as he dipped her back. He noticed that she began to blush and he enjoyed it.

[Shea Dhayne]

"Shock of the century no? They seem to be attracted to each other but attraction isn't always the best chemisty," Shea retorted.

Following James moves she started to blush really bad. It must be a new hobby of his because he seemed to like to do it, a lot. "Only following your lead my dear," she replyed trying in vain to hide her lushing.
