Now that we know that this site will be about gaming, I thought this site might be in need of a domain name change, so people can relate to it (as parkinsworld really means nothing). I have suggested we change the name to gameworld.tk or gameuniverse.tk.
What do you think about these names? Please suggest some names we could use --------------------  |

Hmm, yeah, those sound fine... I'll have a think and see if I can come up with any other ideas, though.

I've had another think about it scince then, and I talked to Stec, and he thought that parkinsworld was fine. I now think that it is a good domain name to have, as even if it is a little strange, people might pick the name out of other gaming sites. What I mean by that is if the name is gameworld.tk (I checked and this domain is not avalible anyway), it would get lost in the blandness of other gaming sites names, so it wouldn't be distinushable. Basicaly what I'm saying is that Parkinsworld is a fine name, and its the difference that counts. What do you guys think regarding this

Yeah, actually, the current domain is probably fine. And it doesn't have to mean anything - that's the whole mystery of Parkins World!
  Besides, for site hits purposes (if that's what you were thinking of), the domain name will hardly matter at all, as there are very few bloggers who would find a .tk site anyway.  (The majority of members and stuff that we'll get will probably be people who find links around the net promoting the site... like the signature thing I was talking about doing around some gaming sites once Parkins World is properly up and running, and other stuff like that. ) -------------------- Lord Parkin / Emperor
