China has circumnavigated the globe. :um:
Tourfan and Aytchwisa both finished production. niamor, you'll have to select their next builds. I stuck granaries in both, since we are growing again and I think it's a pretty strong choice. But again, it's your decision.
I think we should use the whip in Hovd this turn. It gives us our Harbor 4 turns sooner, and since food is much more plentiful there than hammers it is good sense to do so. I either of you agree then that's enough to let us do so, and you can press the whip button when you log in.
It seems to me that K-Town could be working either a clam square or another cottage, instead of both plains mines. The extra food from working the fishing boats will get another worker on that Plains Hill lickety split, after all. I would suggest maximizing food in every city as much as possible now that we are under Slavery and Hereditary Rule. We can use the whip and send units.
Also, niamor and Thalatta, feel free to send me requests for units to combat unhappy faces in your cities as they near. I need a few turns notice if I'm going to send a unit in time, but if you don't let me know I might think you plan to whip the population.
I'll need a unit in SC eventually but probably not for, oh, fifteen turns? Pacifism seems to be doing us a lot of harm right now as we're generating no GPP so I'm all for increasing food in cities. If we switched one of the plains hills in K-Town to the corn it would net us both some quick GPP (as long as our silly missionary works properly) and enable that fourth plains hill (or more cottages) all the sooner.
I got an e-mail from niamor telling me that I have command of two workers for SC so have moved them; I did nothing else in my last login. Granaries sound good to me (if niamor has a different suggestion I'd be happy to vote if needed, but I have no suggestion) and I didn't look at Hovd close enough to make a call on whipping it - I'll leave that up to niamor for the moment.
(A note on my partial rename of the workers niamor assigned to me: ironically, Stone City, Iowa is about half an hour from where I live. As it's where Grant Wood is from, I added the names to the workers. :P)

I did, but I won't do it often, as the first goal is to grow. So now I whip only in cities with a granary, and where the whip is used to gain more GP despite the loss of people.

The last turn, I had to slow down growth because of unhappy people, and accelerate market for the :) it gives. But it looks that this turn there is one more :) (maybe the WW is decreasing), so I switched for growth.
In some turns I will need 2 more units for happy faces (except if WW is continuing to decrease). I made an archer last turn for the same purpose, to let the Keshick go away.
