W.E. connected before I did (then really near of the begining of
turn). As I didn't know very well which and where our units were, I
can only suppose that he killed some wounded units near their Capital
(I saw wounded units only 2 tiles from the front).
All our units retreated W or NW (to join HAK's units). The wounded
ones will come to our nearest border, so as to regenerate and be able
to take part in the attack of the capital.

No move seen from the Sikis. But Qallqaulllay lost one citizen. I
don't know if it's only a whip, or if Sikis are trying to commit a
suicide to this city so that Chineses and we are not able to take it,
but only to raze it :-(
HAK's stack arrived 2 tiles from Qallqaulllay. We have ~5 units which
can take part to the battle. I think I won't put them with HAK's
stack, to avoid the bombardments of Sikis Catapults. Of course, as
W.E. is angry with us, he can bombard only our unit's, letting the big
HAK's stack in peace, but then the battle will last less longer.
I had time to have a little chat with HAK in the game. They obviously
do not want to go further than Qallqaulllay. What is good for us,
because 75% of Siki's army is in Qallqaulllay. The capture of the
capital will then be easier for us.
I put the science cursor to 100%, so that we will be able to
produce/upgrade to macemen after 2 turns.

Just a little note - cities which have had their cultural influence expand at least once cannot be auto-razed in vanilla Civ4, even if they are size 1. I mentioned this to the Chinese a while ago, so I only thought it'd be fair to let everyone else know too. ;)

Did you say it to the Sikis? ;)
They are maybe desesperately trying it... , while we absolutely cannot do nothing!
(no, it's a joke :) )

§ -20:00 beot : I tried to clean the hill in front of Qallquaulay to help the chinese's stack to establish here. I lost an axe doing it, but killed 1.75 archer. Then I asked via mail to HAK when he intended to take this hill, as I did not want to stay alone on it. And as he had a warrior lost in his stack, I asked for it to finish the last 0.25 archer on top of it. Then I went eating.

| [...]However, He (W.E.) completely decimated my entire stack. I have no troops left with which to attack. And it'll be a little while before we get our first round of Macemen made and then we also need to make more catapults before we can start attacking again. I suggest if most of his troops are up in the north that you make a rapid U-turn and had straight for their capital and capture that.At this stage, it will be awhile before we can try again on Q'llay. |
In fact, now, the chinese have only 2 axes and the warrior () left, which came in the forest with our two axes and one catapult. Sikis made a exit on the hill with all their attacking units, killing a lot of chineses axes and catapults, apparently without loosing a unit. Of course their units on the hill are damaged, but our elephants are too far away to attack, and I suppose next turn all those units will go back in the city to regenerate.
The road between Qallquaulay and Herandall. is not cutted. I will try to do it next turn with an axe and a sword (to which I fortunately gave forester 2 last turn). I will try this little counter-attack, but then I think I will stop and wait for other troups, waiting for our damaged ones inside our border are fully healed, and the first maces to arrive.

Might it be possible to kill off any of the units on the hill? I can't login to see anything (getting connection timed out) so this may be a poor suggestion, but if we could take advantage of the lack of city and fortify bonuses to defense at the moment, perhaps we could at least pick off a few of the units.

I can't log in either, but chatting with HAK tells me that they have two unwounded axemen on the hill. China might be able to kill one of them, but not get at the weakened units.
I think the attacking units will get to promote and return home. :(
