RULES: 1) Keep the language PG-13 please. I don't suppose it's too much to ask?
2) Try to keep on topic. If you feel you are straying from the original topic or if what you are talking about has no relevance to the thread name, then please remind yourself to stay on topic and it doesn't hurt to remind others around you.
4) Under no circumstances will we accept any ripping of graphics, or claiming credit of them as your own. You will be warned or even banned.
5) No spamming. Seriously, you don't think it's a problem--but it becomes one.
ESPECIALLY PORN PEOPLE!6) Above all, it is important to be respectful of other members. Constructive criticism is welcome, flaming and bashing is not. If we see any of this, you will be warned.
7) Please give credit to the artist that fills out your request, a small note can go a long way.
8) No personal pictures in requests - models and actors only. We reserve the right to refuse your request if we are suspicious.
8a) No personal pictures
at all. I don't want to see them in your signature, your avatars, your gallery, in a link in your sig, none! Trust me, privacy is a big deal! There are a lot of sickos out there, don't let yourself be a victim to them.
8b) Images from flickr, photobucket or any other photo hosting site that are not specifically marked as ok to use for stock are also consider
personal pictures. Just because someone posts a picture of themselves, or their family, on a photo hosting site does not mean that picture is up for grabs for anyone on the net to do with as they please. Use common sense, and stick to professional stock sites like
stock xchng or
morguefile when you don't want to use a celeb or fashion photoshoot.
9) Members may fill requests, but only in the Member Request Forum.
10) Bumping requests may only take place after 3 days, and only if your request has not been accepted. If it has been picked up, the artist has 9 days to fill it but you may PM them a friendly reminder if it gets near the end of that 9 days.
11) Please do not double post, except in the case of bumping which is only allowed for requests (see rule #10).
This also means that your gallery post should only one post, not the first several posts. (Each post can have a 100 image links and that should be plenty for any one - put matching icons on canvases to better use your 100 images.)12) All content in your gallery must be made by you. This means that you cannot post any gifts or awards that you have won in your gallery. Alternatively, please post them in
the Trophy Cabinet, a forum that is in the Artist's Exhibition as a separate showcase for your supreme awesomeness. (:
17 July 2008the reason for this rule is simple - when we are doing promotions, it seems that an awful lot of you have more awards in your gallery than actual graphic content, and it becomes very difficult for us to judge. we aren't going to see that you are a high ranking artist on another site and automatically make you a high ranking artist here - that's not how we operate. besides, it must get very cluttered having all of that in your gallery, and in the interest of keeping everything easy to manage, we're giving you another forum to put all of your awards into. Aren't we lovely? ^_____^
For Request Rules please visit
this thread.13) Please don't ask about promotions in any form (PMs, posts or c-box). Be patient and we will get them done as soon as we can).
NEW USERS, PLEASE READ THIS AND FOLLOW OUR INSTRUCTIONS:You are INCAPABLE of posting anywhere on this board before you have followed these instructions. There are a TON more forums that you currently have no access too, but we need to be sure that you're not some smelly spam-bot in disguise!
After you have read these rules please post in this* topic. Something along the lines of "I've read the rules, I make pretty graphics nao?" After you've posted, most people get a message stating "You do not have permission to view this topic" or something to that tune. If this happens, do not, I repeat DO NOT, try to post again. In fact, don't post ANYTHING for at least five or so minutes. In 99.9999% of most cases, your post was processed and posted, but you have been PROMOTED, and can no longer see the forum that the topic was in.
If you post again immediately, there's a little glitch with the board that will actually
demote you back to the validating user group, and you will not be automatically promoted back from there whether you post again or not. New users are set to be automatically promoted when they reach ONE post. Once you've reached two, that's it.

Promotions over.
If anyone is in the Validating or Learning Stencilling group with
MORE THAN ZERO posts, please get in contact with an admin and we will fix the problem for you.
These rules are subject to change as need arises. Thank you much!
