This is what is recommended to buy for new scouts (tigers)

Blue Cub Scout Shirt, buy so that it will fit for 3 years
NEW WEBELOS SHOULD BUY THE BROWN BOY SCOUT SHIRT
Blue Cub Scout belt, dont buy the Tiger belt as its only good for one year, so go ahead and get the cub scout belt
Neckerchief & Slide for your sons Rank (Tiger=orange)
Patches (675) Den #, world crest, and Atlanta Area Council Patch
Hats are optional

Most kids dont wear the shorts or pants as they outgrow them.Scouts can where any Blue ot Khacki shorts/jeans

New scouts will need to buy the book for their rank the first year.

The staff at the scout shop is very helpful and will get you what you need. If you have the time the scout shop will sew on the patches, usually takes about a week, unsure of the cost. There are also good "stick on" sheets where you dont have to sew them on.
