Fall Camping Information Sheet

The Fall Family Campout is scheduled for October 3rd and 4th (Friday, October 2nd optional). This document contains important information about this trip.

The location is Camp Thunder/Gerald L. Lawhorn Scouting Base in the Flint River Council. The address is 1284 Dripping Rock Road, Molena, GA 30258.

There is an optional side trip Sunday morning to Wild Animal Safari. All trip costs are listed on the Camping Sign-up form attached.

Camping Sign Up Form – Please fill out and return with your payment to the September 11th pack meeting. You are not signed up for this trip until you turn in this form and pay.

Health forms – please fill out, print and bring to the September 11th pack meeting. We must have a Health Form for your scout and any other family member attending – you only need to fill out Part A and C (You do NOT need a physical). Here is a link to the form:

Meals: The pack will provide dinner on Saturday night. All other meals are on your own. If you attend the optional trip to Wild Animal Safari on Sunday, lunch is included in our package. We suggest you bring things that are quick and easy to prepare such as sub sandwiches, doughnuts, banana bread, apples, bananas, OJ, PB&J, carrot sticks and so forth. If you have a picky eater, be prepared and bring something. We will most likely have burgers and hotdogs on Saturday.
