How to move between major board locations:

This is a very simple concept that we would like applied to the boards. It involves how characters move from thread to thread, say from Port Royal to Tortuga. To move from one board to another, simply add a line at the end of your current thread to notify where the thread is moving to. Then the first sentence in your new thread should notify where it is being continued from. This way, those reading along know where to go, or where you came from. It's also a great way to keep organized. Here’s a brief example as I believe it describes it better than words:

Commodore James Norrington-
James Norrington could feel the anticipation growing in the pit of his stomach as his men prepared the Dauntless for the sea. He was going to go after the notorious Jack Sparrow and send him to the gallows once and for all. Smiling broadly as the sun shone bright over the glistening sea, James waited silently for the signal to set sail.

Lieutenant Gillette-
Lt. Gillette’s breath came in great gulps as he raced up the endless stairs to the top of the Fort. He paused before the last flight in hopes of steadying his breathing and then made the final climb. Commodore Norrington stood before him, back turned as he gazed upon the docks. Lt. Gillette positioned himself next to his senior officer and made his report. “Commodore, the Dauntless is ready to make sail as ordered. Shall we head out to the open seas at tomorrow’s first daybreak?”

Commodore James Norrington-
James frowned as he looked down upon the face of Lt. Gillette. Tomorrow seemed like such a long ways away, and all Norrington could think about was how soon he could clap irons around Jack Sparrow’s wrists. Turning towards the stairs, James issued his orders. “No, we cannot wait for tomorrow. We’ll set sail immediately; alert the crew.” The Commodore then made his way down to the docks and took his position aboard the Dauntless. Within a half hour the ship turned her great hull towards the open sea and sailed off into the brilliant horizon.

Lt. Gillette-

Lt. Gillette barked orders to his crew, who moved about in an organized manner familiar to the navy sailors. They were making good time, much to his pleasure. Gillette made his way to the helm in order to speak with the Commodore. “What is our heading, sir?”

Commodore Norrington-
James smiled ruthlessly as he continued to daydream about giving Jack the hangman’s noose. However, his twisted reveries were interrupted by his lieutenant’s inquiry. “We’re headed to Tortuga to pick up a few supplies and any tips regarding the whereabouts of Mr. Sparrow. Back to your station, sailor.”

The Dauntless reached the rough rock of Tortuga by nightfall, and Commodore Norrington had his men lower a rowboat for he and Lt. Gillette to be rowed ashore.

James Norrington stepped briskly upon the dock as his rowboat was being tied down by a young sailor. He immediately set off for the well known taverns of the area in hopes of picking up information about his nemesis, Jack Sparrow.
