Well as most of you know I like to tinker with Auto's like my truck, which you have all seen. Well this winter the truck is on hold and something new is the project.

Did some work with the neighbour, as he is selling his house and was talking to him and his wife about the business I want to start. He told me that he wanted to help me with it. So this is what he asked. He wanted me to get his old car he has had for at least 20 years (15 that I can remember), running again as he has stored it for the past 7 years without starting it. So I got it running and he was pretty pumped and then said this would be the car to promote your business and handed me the key's. He said the car is yours . So now I have something new to build

It is a 1980 Camaro R/S all numbers matching car (was appraised 10 years ago at $7,500 and has been stored indoors since then).

I have done some work to the car already. Hard to see in these pics but you can at least see the car as it is now and will appreciate the work that is to follow.

I will update the pictures as I go with the rebuild on this car

Sure sounds like a good deal to me Brandon.

As for the job you do on cars ... of course I personally can attest to what good work you do, especially after seeing my old Grand Marquis literally turn into one that looks like a new one ... and the price was right!

Good luck and you KNOW that I will drum up business for you .... plus design a business card for you as well.

Well jabs good part about this car is it has been under coated with the grease type under coat. And the floors have been replaced in 2000 so this car is as solid as a new one smile.gif Just needs a bit of body work on the rockers as they have a small blister. No holes in this car just a bit of scale. Even the sub frame is mint being a F-body car

It needs a good tune up (plugs wires ect) and a good running but i am thinking on dropping a 350 i have into it and rebuild the stock motor to keep it a number matching car.

Well a update on the Camaro project I pulled and changed the original 305 and dropped the 350 into it. The 305 started to really smoke and then the valve seals went and she was done. So i am going to rebuild the original motor and keep it put away for a rainy day. here are some pics

My "wrenching" days are over: I only pick'em up if I ABSOLUTELY have to, that's why they have people like Brandon in the world for old farts like you and I, eh Harry? 69.gif

Thanks guy's As much as i make it look easy it really is very hard on me. I have very bad hands. And due to my last surgery on my hand it left my hand at about half strength of my other. And with these cooler days on us i am feeling it big time lol But i don't let it stop me doing what i love to do smile.gif Mind you i had some pretty nasty words i would yell out while doing this motor change but still love the challenge

Thanks again guys for the nice words keeps me going smile.gif

I painted it flat black just till spring. As i did not want the primer to hold moisture this winter. And because i had some from my truck left over. So the paint will seal it . So now it is ready for when i paint the car
