Check out the cat and owl playing together on this page. The exact video may not open, so you may have to find it on the right. I've never seen anything like it.

Key, it's absolutely amazing how Mother Nature's creatures behave. Generally we only see them stalking and eating each other but this video is such a pleasant exception.

I've forwarded it to everyone I could.

Fantastic!

Harry, I thought you'd like it. I believe it's the best and most extreme example I've seen of different species really getting along.

Yes Key and what's more amazing is that normally each of them are natural "enemies."

The cats upstairs at my daughter's apartment are forbidden downstairs here because our two birds wouldn't stand a chance if they got hold of them! .... plus .... if so .... the SPCA would likely be after me for killing two cats if they got them!! angry.gif

Well ... it's the 28th December and we still have not seen very much snow here. A little today but not much. (We'll likely get clobbered now just for me saying that! laugh.gif

Harry

PS: Not sure but I'm beginning to think that Al Quada or some other "boogey men" got most members here as there don't seem to be too much interest in posting. Maybe our forum is too tame!

It's never too tame as long as you're posting. smile.gif

No snow here yet. Heading out tomorrow for 1,200 miles of driving and 3 concerts (including New Year's Eve) in 3 days.

I've all but stopped posting about news... I was following the presidential race here, but now that it looks like the media and GOP will select Romney, I've lost all interest.

I'm still watching closely Key. Canadian or no, I'm very interested in American politics because .... regardless of what many Canadians think and say .... the state of the USA has a very important influence on us as well.

Not too sure who I'm rooting for at this time but I sure wish Sarah was still in there as she would have my vote for sure! Michelle Bachman is a gutsy gal and I would vote for her if she had a chance as she has absolutely no political baggage like most candidates do and she is smart enough to handle any situation that a good President might run into!

Other than that .... Gingrich is well up on my chart compared to Romney.

Anything but that poor excuse of an "import" from Kenya that's there now. He's not only NOT a legal American in my opinion but is also tainted too much with the muslim doctrine of hate and idiocy in general. How in hell did we ever get inundated so badly with these muslim scum anyway??

As I See It Anyway (as is my right)

Harry, I pretty well agree with every word you wrote regarding US politics.
A few of my thoughts:
Wish the Republicans would stop fighting among themselves.
A lot of them like Ron Paul, but I read somewhere that he is anti Israel - not the way to go. Too bad Rick perry made a few blunders, I still like him though.
I like Newt too, but can he win?

Oh and, how did we get inundated with that Islamic scum?
Thank Trudeau, he called it "multi-culturalism." At least in Europe they are now discovering it does not work. Too late.

Just realized the cat and owl topic has gone political. smile.gif

I'm following the race from a distance. I was following closely, but after Herman Cain and now Gingrich have been reduced to almost nothing, I'm disgusted.

The GOP wants Romney, period. Gingrich won every single debate, came from behind in the polls to lead, and then the media and millions of negative ads later, Gingrich has fallen behind.. and it has nothing to do with anything Gingrich did or said.

I'm also disgusted that my own state Va. chose to change the rules right before the primary, so only Romney and Ron Paul are on the ticket.

I liked Michelle Bachmann to an extent, but not anymore. She's become a pitbull and her campaign staff is pushy and rude. I think she's staying in the race to get a cabinet position with Romney.

Ron Paul has some great domestic ideas, but insane foreign policy, and he also blames the US for 9/11 and doesn't mind Iran having a nuke. That's enough to forget him completely.

Huntsman is a joke - a former Obama ambassador.

I like Santorum's guts and his strong foreign policy. I'd be for him a lot more if I thought he had any chance of winning. And looking a little like a Keebler Elf, he will not fare well next to Obama.

Romney is too wishy washy for me. He thinks it's "his turn" to be president. He would be a better president than Obama, but a bad enough president to damage the Republican party.

Gingrich is the only guy I want at this point. He may be able to pull it off, but it's all uphill with the Romney machine, the media, the Washington Republicans and the liberals all against him.

It almost seems like this entire campaign is to systematically tear down each candidate so only the weakest survives, so Obama can win.

My 2 cents.

Like in a shark-eating frenzy .... one bites another ... another bites another and pretty soon all the sharks are devoured!

These of course aren't sharks .... they are a bunch of imbecilic assholes doing anything to feed their own ego and pockets.

Obama? Well ... he should be back where he came from .... swinging in the trees with all his relatives! laugh.gif

As I See It Anyway.
