Onigiri Harvest

[Hiashi Sohma]

A young man was sitting on the front porch of his house. He recieved the occasional stare for his choice in clothing. Who ever really wears all black, especially long sleeves, in the middle of summer? Nosy voices whispered and rumormongered amonst themselves about the penguin. "Oh, that Hiashi is a horrid influence on the children! His personality is just twisted enough to top the cat's!"

He just shot glares icy enough to make them freeze, as he held a cigarette between his tapered fingers. He gently tapped the ashes off, and brought it back to his lips. "And here's to another few years off my life. Cheers to everyone stuck in this little corner of hell." His voice was a baritone with a hint of sarcasm.

[Chika Kuwashiino]

"Hiashi-kun!"

A voice as sweet and ominous as bells rang through the corridors of the Sohma estate as the melody of foot steps were heard approaching. The cause of all the racket turned a sharp corner into the outside world, almost clumsily slipping on the wooden floor that had just been waxed.

Normally Chika was required to wear a maid's uniform while in the confines of the Sohma estate, but today she had finished her duties early and had been planning on going home, but of course not with out spending time with one of her favorite Sohmas.

If Hiashi was a 'bad influence', Chika was a complete disgrace. While she would never touch a cigarette or any unhealthy substance, the girl usually shocked people with the way she dressed. Today she had taken the hot weather into account and so had dressed what she deemed was 'accodringly'. She was wearing a fabric red corset with black ties and a white ruffle going down the middle, fingerless leather gloves, and very baggy pants that barely hugged her waist. The Sohmas had tried to complain, but since she only wore the attire out of their house they could only bite their tongues.

Chika smiled down at Hiashi warmly and walked over to him, hands on her hips and a mischievious glimmer in her eye.

"There you are! Out polluting the air again, I see."

She sat down next to him in her usually cheerful disposition, pulling her legs close to her body and hugging them tight. Before she could ask for his well-being, she turned her gaze toward a few of the elder woman who were staring at them. Chika tilted her head to the side, looking quite confused, then turned and asked in her usual unregulated tone of voice,

"What the hell is the coven staring at?"




*Coven - a gathering/group of witches, basically Chika is calling them all hags

Hiashi smirked at Chika, and took a long drag on purpose. "But polluting those hag's air is so fun." He blew out the smoke in the general direction of the old women, and proceeded to flip them off. "They're just being old and post-menopausal." He raised his voice so that they could hear him loud and clear. "And they need to find someone else to go talk shit about, cause they aren't doing a good job of not being inconspicous!" He grinned as they tittered amongst them selves over his 'callous behavior'.

Chika couldn't help but giggle at Hiashi's comments. She knew he most of the brunt of his family's wrath due to his unique attitude, and that family can cause one many heart aches. The Sohmas were especially brutal to their own kin, though Chika never did understand why.

"Yeah, you're probably the reason why they have so many wrinkles!"

Suddenly she flopped downward and lay on the wooden floor of the porch, her long ebony hair flooding the ground. Spread out in such a manner, Chika looked very childish, but she obviously didn't give a damn.

"So what's new? I haven't seen you in a while. Did you get any further with Ariri-chan?"

As always, Chilka was just blurting whatever she wanted to say with out thinking about coming across as rude or obnoxious.

Or perverted.

[Hiashi Sohma]

"And I really hope that they aren't expecting me to pay for any of those cosmetics to fix that. Waste of my hard earned money for something that could just be weeds and cow manuer for all I know." He was making faces at the women as they left the general area.

Hiashi theni grinned down at the girl laying on his porch. "Wouldn't you like to know that. There's no juicy details for you, sadly. Things are just the same as ever. We go out. We have fun. We cuddle of all things. And we buy each other cold medicine. Seriously, getting sick all the time sucks worse than 'Gigli'."

Chika sat up and peered at Hiashi with childish curiousity, as though she was looking at him for the first time.

"You have a job?"

Before he could reply, Chika stretched her arms forward and yawned, clearly exhasuted from a morning of cleaning the Sohma estate. It seemed that being demanding was a genetic trait for the elder Sohmas; it was either that, or a sign of getting older.

"You guys are just boring. Not that I'm one to talk. The only thing warming my bed is Mr. Blankie."

Suddenly she clapped her hands together and gained a certain brightness in her lavendar eyes as she looked towards her friend with a happy smile.

"Hey! You wanna go do something?"

Hiashi made a face at Chika, and stuck his tongue out at her. "I do have a job, thank you. I happen to work at a bar. I sing occasionally, when I get tired of people bugging me to. But its good money, so I can't exactly complain. But I do anyways."

He tweaked his surprisingly delicate eyebrows at her, and smirked. "So long as it doesn't involve me getting hit on by gay men, I don't see why not. My ass already belongs to someone, and she doesn't like to share. Not that she'd admit that she gets jealous. Its one of many endearing things about her." He put out the cigarette, and lazily stood up.

[Arianna Sohma]

Arianna, as she knew it, was one of the few people that enjoyed being in "the inside". She found the main house, and the homes around it, absolutely gorgeous and breathtaking. Sure, a bit haunting, but that was so amazing about it. As a child, she loved exploring her home, from top to bottom, hoping to find a ghost or two.

Obviously, she never did.

This time though, Arianna wasn't exploring. More like, she was searching for the familiar faces of Hiashi or Chika, two of her closest friends. One who happened to be the one she was to spend the rest of her life with. So how lucky was she, to spot them both, at the same time?

Smiling brightly, Arianna ran up to the two figures. She didn't notice it, but Arianna, as always, stook out like a sore thumb. While Chika was in a corset, and Hiashi was in all black and long sleeves, Arianna was simply in a long, sleeveless sundress and simple sandals. Nothing too revealing, but nothing out of the norm. Well, a bit out of the norm, seeing how modest she was.

With her bright smile, Arianna seemed to be gleeming from happiness. "I'm so glad to see you two!" She exclaimed, her voice as cheery as ever. "I was looking everywhere for you two!"

Hiashi grinned, and almost instantly pulled Arianna into a hug. It was one of the things that he couldn't help. He always had to hug her whenever he saw her. It was as though he was a different person who was harrassing the old women just minutes ago. "Ariri!" He had a warm smile on his face, as he huggled her. "Wanna come do something other than harrass the old biddies? The more the merrier, or some stupid phrase like that."

When Hiashi mentioned the requirements of the hang out, Chika frowned.

"You eliminated almost all of my favorite places. Well, there's always the strip club!"

Suddenly Chika heard some one calling out to them and the sound of hastily approaching foot steps. A wide smile spread across her face as Ariri came to join them outside on the porch.

"Hey honey bunny! Me and your boy toy were just deciding what to do for entertainment for the next couple of hours!"

Arianna's face only brightened as she felt Hiashi's arms wrapped around her. She thought a bit, then frowned. "Oh! I didn't disturb anything, did I?" She asked, looking at the two of them. Please tell me if I did! I'm terribly sorry!" She sweatdropped, and smoothed out her dress. It was at this moment, that Arianna was starting to feel awkward.

But still, she held tightly onto Hiashi arms, and smiled again, this time at Chika. "I would like to do something," She said. Well, not really, but she wanted to be with Hiashi and Chika, so she was willing to go out.

Arianna kept snuggling close to Hiashi, then blinked rapidly at Chika. "E-eh?" She asked, blushing deeply. "M-my boy-toy?" Her face was red now, from pure shock of what the girl had said.

"I-I wouldn't say he's that! Uh..."

Hiashi laughed and flashed a grin at the girls. "Boy-toy? But I'm not a toy! I'm her whore!" He hugged Arianna from behind, and nipped her ear. "She says it, I do it." He was clearly loving...and possessive at the moment. He sucked oh so slightly, enjoying the opportunity to tease both girls- one with what she was getting, and the other with what she WASN'T getting. "I love my Ariri. And where I go, she goes. And vice versa."

[Chika Kuwashiino]

Chika couldn't stop giggling as the two took themselves in each other's arms. Ariri was embarressed while Hiashi was completely bold as he nipped his lover's ear and began to suck on it shamelessly. Chika couldn't help but feel slightly envious, not because she wanted to be in Ariri's place (or Hiashi's, for that matter), but because she currently didn't have any one to give her so much romantic attention. The two of them were lucky to have each other, especially when they had to deal with a family like the Sohmas.

"Yeah yeah, everyone knows you two are worse then teen bunnies fresh outta prison!"

The girl stood to her feet and stretched her arms upward, making an 'mm' sound as she did so. She was slightly worn from cleaning half of the house, but that didn't stop her from wanting to do something to quell her boredome.

"Well good, cause I just decided she's going to the mall. Now get your ass off the porch and your mouth off her ear, I can't stand this place's stuffy aura..."

[Arianna Sohma]

"Wh-whore!?" Arianna exclaimed, looking back at Hiashi. She was not expecting that. Though she should have, knowing Hiashi. But...she didn't really know. She just wasn't expecting Hiashi to call himself her whore. Wasn't that a bad thing?

Trying her hardest to regain her composure, Arianna blushed a bit darker and looked to the ground. She smoothed out her skirt, feeling more and more awkward by the second. Not to mention, she looked pretty awkward too, around them.

Then Hiashi began sucking on her ear.

Arianna about hit the floor at that moment, with the blood quickly rushing to her head. She squirmed a bit, and shivered almost violently. She was inwardly proud of herself though, for not fainting right then and there.

"Th-the mall...?" Arianna shakily asked, showing how...hot and bothered she truly felt.
