Just as a bit of an example. When Battlefield 2 came out people spent hundreds, even thousands of dollars on computer upgrades and even new computers... They were sure BF2 would be the start of games requiring these "elite" components. Not too long after, a version comes out for the Xbox360... And it looks great. Bottom line spent? 450. 400 for console. 50 for game. Thats just... Ow. Glad I didn't have the money to upgrade. I feel consoles are more cost effective after hearing and seeing that.

Yep, seems like it. I go with what I have when playing computer games.

Just as an example. Recently they released a Battlefield 2 patch that was supposed to make gameplay better. Now my video card won't even run it. Thats just not even right to change the minimum requirements of any game. They're making a new patch to cover some of the problems but I don't know if the video card thing is one of them. Computers are just too demanding to be worth while. ( Unless you have a job and steady income )

True.

Changing system requirements on someone doesn't seem fair, more like a waste of money and time.

Well, they're supposedly fixing it but they sure are taking their sweet old time. Some regular player found a fix before EA themselves did. Pretty sad to me.

Well, that's sad. If the company didn't rush its team to meet a deadline maybe those bugs would be less in number.

They just realesed the patch yesterday. It fixed the cards but a lot of major issues are still there. Im personally fine with it, now it at least works. But they really need quality over the amount of time it takes.
