I'm not kidding! My little bro bought this game. I thought: Let's give it a try, and to my own surprise, I liked it very much.

Get this game. It's pretty awesome. It isn't very hard, but it's just awesome!

I've beaten the game a few days ago. Pretty nifty to get to the final stage, you need to find all the Toads in every level to unlock it. The final stage contains 3 bosses to make it more interesting too.

What I like about this game:

- The sprites, landscapes and backgrounds are very nice and very well done.
- At some points, the game is tricky. Some bosses for instance.
- The enemies that appear. I'm glad to see enemies from mainly SMB3, SMW and SMW2:YI return in this game, even some Super Mario Sunshine ones, as well as new enemies. (*Cough* where the hell have the Shy Guys gone to *chough*)
- A glossary to view enemies you defeated, mini games, puzzles, music mode, a shop and extra's
- The Music. (Especially the Fury Volcano (World 4) music tracks...)
- After defeating the final boss, new stages will appear when you defeat a boss again. Beating the boss of world 8 (1st round) will give you 3 new stages for world 1, defeating the boss (2nd round, after defeating the final boss) of world 1 will give you 3 new levels for world 2, etc.

I just LOVE the enemies.

Crying Dry Bones, Happy Piranha Plants, Mad Koopa Troopa's, Mad Banzai Bills, Happy bloopers, Crying Goomba's...

*Spoilers ahead for some bosses that appear in the game*

Petey Piranha, Gooper Blooper, King Boo, Wiggler, Kamek, and of course... Bowser! (I didn't mention the other 4 bosses...)

It's a cool game. Go and get it.

Hmm, sounds good.

I've been looking for some DS games to get this summer, so I might get this one.

So what is SPP? Is it a tradition side scroller or a pseudo-RPG?

A good ol' side scroller. A really worthy Super Mario Bros. spin-off. As my friend likes to put it, a Jump'N Run game, A.K.A. a platformer.

This game surely gives a twist to the Mario series!

So a side scroller? Might put it into consideration.
