I got online recently and was suprised by how many people still play this game. It seems like its been around forever. Personally I can play it for weeks and then get tired of it but always come back eventually with a new/better build. It has increasing difficulties. Like you can beat the game at level 40ish but then you get to move onto nightmare which will stick you to around level 60 or 70. After that its hell mode and it really is hell... Only a decent build will stand a chance. More then likely your first character will fail miserably here... But don't let that get you down. If you got the feeling of the game it will only drive you to push for a better character. I know I was happy the first time I made a character who could solo the first act of hell... Its no easy task. But its a great game overall. The number of items in the game is amazing. There are those that "everybody" wants as any game. But the attributes are random a lot so you can get a low version, mixed, or perfect. Though usually its not much different and only a few actually care if its low. All skills cap at 20. You get a skill point each level to a max level of 99 so 99 skill points + 12 from bonus quests. Even with that many you can only max 4 skills. And there are a lot for each character. Speaking of which theres Sorceress, Druid, Paladin, Barbarian, Necromancer, and Amazon. Each with 3 different skill tree's. Example: Sorceress has fire magic, lightning magic, and ice magic. Its a great RPG and you can buy the BattleChest ( D2, D2 LOD expansion and the original Diablo along with a D2 strategy guide for 40... I know I sound like a salesman but thats a great deal to me. ) After buying online is free. And you can have as many accounts as you want with 8 characters on each... ( I think its 8... ) Great RPG and I reccomend it.
