Blessed be the return, for it has come.

Was beginning to get a little worried there that Nones had faded away... Which would be a tragedy.

Just for the record, and because no one ever says this enough, I love the story. I look forward to each page every week, and I hope to continue doing so for a long time to come. Only real complaint is that they don't come fast enough... But that's life. Anyways, it's great. Keep up the good work. smile.gif

That's very kind of you. I've been finding it difficult to focus on writing since I finished my MA, and this week just turned out to be unusually stressful. Not having a clear idea of where my life's going next and looking for jobs is not a lot of fun. Though I know no writing is pointless - I learned that lesson after Mr Kuan-Ti and Another Place took off - right now it feels like all my writing's getting funnelled into a black hole and that makes it rough.

I really do appreciate hearing from you guys. Nones is largely written for my benefit, for fun and practice - and to get this stuff out of my head - but though I know I get plenty of regular readers, I rarely get any idea of what they think unless I specifically ask. I care a lot about people's critique - I will never stop learning more about writing and I love it enough to constantly work on improving - so any comments are always welcome.

Nones is a long-term project (I hope) and was deliberately chosen as such: with any long-term project there are highs and lows. I'm just going through a little bit of a low at the moment. I don't want Nones to fade away - I'm still annoyed that I haven't done any illustrating for a while but the novel was top priority, so no question there - but it's nice to know people out there don't want it to fade away either. Thank you.

Still trying to be good and update on a reasonably regular basis... operative word being 'trying'. But, happily, the worst of the plot-straightening-out is over for now so hopefully stuff should be chugging along a bit better.
