Secret gambling grounds..., easy place to break some school rules

Ebonys smile widened. This was very good. She knew the dice were a 5 and 3. This was easy money. hope she is one of those people who hate loosing so badly that they keep betting, trying to earn back their money. Ebony always loved those kinda people. The girl didn't look like one of these people to her, but hey, she had been wrong about her once this evening.

Lilly looked at Ebony, she had a slight smile on her face. Whats she thinking? Lilly lifted the cup on the table, a 3 and 5. She lost the game and her fifty bucks. "Damn... Oh well anyone up for another game?" She pulled out a ten from her wallet, "Not a fifty but all I got."

She looked at Ebony. Green eyes, brown hair, and a pocket full of her fifty dollars. Oh well, money is just money, other things more important. Time to start talking about something. "So Ebony, you seeing anyone?" Maybe coming on alittle to strong but ehh.

Ebony sighed to herself. The girl only had 10 more bucks... Oh well. She put the dice in the cup again and put it on the table when the girl asked if she was seeing someone. She raised an eyebrow, thinking about umbra, and asked "yeah, what's it to you??" Ebony stared at the girl. She seemed nice, and there was no one else to gamble with. Talking was a good cheep way to pass the time away.

Lilly watched as Ebony put the cup of dice on the table again. She seemed annoyed when she asked if she was seeing anyone, She might have to start looking for a nice guy to get to know.

"Oh nothing, just wondering, trying to start up a little conversation," She looked at the cup and started wondering whether she should just bomb it or actually try. why not...

"Lets go with double 5's"

Ebony smiled as she called a double one and then pulled the cup off the ground. "Oh!" she said with a big smile. "smake eyes, and i get the remaining 10 bucks leaving you broke!" she said collecting the last bit of money and adding it to the money she earned earlier. Enony started playing with the dice. The girl was trying to make a small conversation, so why not just go along with it. Nothing better to do. "how 'bout you?? Are you seeing anybody?"

Lilly stuffed her empty wallet into her pocket. Ebony asked her the same question.

"Me, oh no Im still single, looking, but single." Like she needed to be reminded. She had dated guys and girls before but no one was interesting, all boring. Hopefully that would change but untill then she was still looking.

"So, out of money, now what?"

Ebony leaned up against the wall, thinking " i hae no idea. I'm just going to hang around here. There's nothing better to do here anyways. "she said as she started playing with the dice in the cup. "why are you here at abunai anyways?? I guess it's a good school and all, but any specific reasons??" She was thinking of why she was sent here. Probably no specific reason, but she couldn't think of anything else to say. She wasn't good at talking to people for fun. Her only skill was gambling, and that's about where her list of skills ended.

Ebony played with the cup of dice and asked why Lilly was at Abunai.

"Well, my mom thought it was time that I 'leave the nest' ya know? everyones kid has to go sometime, so she sent me here. Thougt it would be good for me to leave town and see new places, meet new people..." She was fixed on dice in the cup, the noise they made had caught her interest.

"Why are you here?" She said with her eyes still fixed on the cup.

Ebony laughed lightly to herself. "my father thought this was a good school. He sent me here so i could become a better person." She sighed and put the dice cup down "He mainly sent me here so i could get rid of my gambling obsession. Great help that was. He waisted all this money on this wonderful school because he thought it would just fix me. I don't need to be fixed" She said and laughed bitterly.

George entered the hallway, excited for his first day of classes. Since this was his first day on the job he had brought with him all the decorations, giant periodic tables, ion lists, and other scientific paraphanelia found on the walls of science classrooms. Whistling as he walked toward the door of his classroom, he paused at then door. He had a sudden hunch that he didn't want to open the door. He got these hunches a lot and they usually proved true. He assumed it was merely acute intuition. This one he choose to ignore, as he did need to begin ornamenting the walls. As he opened the door he thought Please, don't let me regret this. Then he saw the room...and the boy and girl. They appeared to be engaged in some kind of gambling game. Thank God they weren't necking! "Hello, Children. And what, pray, are you two doing in my new classroom?"

Suddenly a teacher walked into the classroom and said "Hello, Children. And what, pray, are you two doing in my new classroom?" Ebony looked at him, he looked to young to be a teacher, but something gave her a funny feeling about him. She took off a glove and touched the dice cup. Shoot, he was a teacher, despite his age. "nothing much Mr. G. I was just showing my friend lilly here how to play the game D&D with cards." just hope he doesn't know anything about that game. It is never played with cards, but oh well. Even if he played it he wouldn't know if someone didn't tweek the game a bit Ebony thought as she waited for him to respond.

Lilly looked back, expecting it to be the girl that left coming back or something. It wasnt the girl, it was a teacher wondering what they were doing. Ebony made up that they were playing D&D. "Yep just having a friendly game, nothing wierd at all... except we're playing in our next classes classroom..." She cut it off with a smile to the teacher.
