No one with a tattoo that prominently displayed that is that gay should win the Heisman. What is it, a unicorn with fairy dust coming off it, reaching for a shooting star?

Maybe it's one of the Carebears? I can't remember. He looks like such a jackoff with that thing.

i liked marquis maze committing to michigan a few days ago. it's a perfect fit from the get-go cuz of his sweet last name. in all seriousness, he's going to be a good player from looking at the film of him playing. all i have to say is WOW! he's not one of your typical michigan player cuz of his size but his speed/quickness will be an asset for the wolverines. reminds me of a lil bit of garrett wolfe/barry sanders.

Big day for Michigan. JR Hemingway committed to Michigan and that's not even the big new for today. Marques Solcum apparently is at A2 and is cleared to play for Michigan. This is great to see him working hard to follow his lifelong dream to play for Michigan. This show characters about him not taking the easy way out. I can't wait to see him on the field in Maize and Blue. As we can see in Army All-American game a couple years ago, he was dominant on the line, taking up multiple blockers and wreaking havoc.

few things

Mike Kolodziej has left the team apparently.

i'm really excited about greg matthews. Lloyd carr has been on his nuts the whole off-season and i can't wait to see why, as he's surpassed guys like doug dutch and lattryl savoy on the depth chart.

Alijah bradley has been moved to WR.

THE FRONT 4 IS GONNA BE RIDICULOUS.

In somewhat related Michigan news, Pat Massey was released. Is he going to catch on anywhere Az, or is he finished?

Massey kinda sucks. I used to like him, but he never progressed past his Sophomore year. Good for kick block units though.

Massey's a turd. if a team feels like spending 3-4 years of trying to convert him to OT, then that might work. He certainly has the physical stature and athleticism to do so. But a 6-7 DT just won't work. There's almost no way he could gain any leverage.

John Henderson's 6-7.

Though, for the most part, I agree with you - heighth is overrated in a defensive tackle.

Massey was a worthless piece of crap. He never does anything good on the field and how he got PT is beyond me. IMO, losing Gabe Waston and Massey is an addition by subtraction because Michigan have Alan Branch and Terrance Taylor at DT.

One player to watch for on the D-line is Rondell Biggs. He's gonna do big things for Michigan this year.

so i probably don't voice many other michigan fans, but i like our offense. we've become a running team as opposed to a true balanced offense. i think with notre dame we're gonna try to go with the whole ball control concept.

Also i hear rumblings about the pass offense. I think it's fine. just cause we're not going downfield. big deal. we'll be fine.

now....that right side of the o-line...there's a slight issue....

god i hope michigan runs out of gas after the ND game like FSU did after the Miami game...then UW has a glimmer of a hope...a very little glimmer

I hope Michigan runs the table till November 19th...and so does OSU...because presumably they would be OSU #1, Michigan #2...because then OSU would smoke them (much like they have the past two years, and 3 of the last 4), and OSU would drop the #2 team in the country twice in one year.

depending on what i see against ND, and michigan wins, then i see no reason why we can't run the table.

Also, we were ahead for the most part in the 2nd half, and lost in the end. hardly to be defined as "smoked." anyways, if it wasn't in ohio state i'd confidently say it'd be competitive the whole game, and would probably win the game in the end. Taking last year's game, and taking into consideration that A. Ohio state lost 12 starters from last year (obviously defense was hit hard) and B. we were able to contain practically the same offense last year with a "head up ass" philosophy on defense, i think it'll be a very good game.

so, i really like michigan's linebackers. what we have with those guys is a terrific run stopper in dave harris, a terrific pass-rusher in sean crable, and a terrific guy in coverage with prescott burgess. Chris graham is also just a solid all-around player.

And that d-line. my god is it beastly. need some DT depth, but poop. beastly.

Az...I'm not normally a poop talker on here, but you have to admit that there are about 4 people on OSU that just have Michigan's number.

1. Jimmy T
2. Troy Smith
3. Gonzo
4. Teddy Ginn Jr.

Ginn is questionable, but we remember the punt return a few years back.

I'll be honest, it's still 8 weeks away, but this game might be the most competitive one we've seen in 5 years...since the year OSU won the NC. It's going to be a good one unless one of the two teams collapse.

i would hardly say gonzo. it would just be jimmy t and troy smith i think.

in either case

i came to the conclusion, when talking with a friend, that the game's either gonna be a great game, super competitive. Or, it could end up with one team dominating the other. Since it's in ohio state, i sort of doubt michigan will dominate. so it's either going to be a great game, or ohio states gonna dominate.
